March 5, 2007, one month after Infinity On High was released.

Everyone had tried to get Mikey to not listen to the new Fall Out Boy album. Especially Gee. They had noticed some songs were written about summer 2005, or more specifically, Mikey.

Gerard didn't want Mikey to be heart broken all over again. He was finally starting to get over Pete and he didn't want all his progress to be gone because of some songs written by a boy who destroyed him.

But Mikey wanted to listen. He wanted to know that Pete still cared. Because, deep down, he still loved Pete.

One day when Gee went out with Frank (which was total not a date pshhh, why would you think that) he wasted no time going onto iTunes and downloading this album, titled 'Infinity On High'.

After a few minutes the album finished downloading and Mikey clicked play. The first song was titled "Thriller". He was quite surprised by their change in sound. He did enjoy it though. He was still impressed by Patrick's vocal abilities. That little man sure had a big voice.

He didn't pay much attention to any of the songs until Hum Hallelujah.

The lyrics made Mikey want to cry. He knew this one wasn't for him, specifically, it was more about the suicide attempt Pete had a few years ago. But the lyrics "I thought I loved you, it was just how you looked in the light," made Mikey let out an audible whimper.

Then Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. Mikey was on the verge of tears during this one. He knew this one was for him.

He had told Pete "he tastes like you, only sweeter," at a party where he was pretty drunk and kissed Gabe Saporta. He didn't think Pete would remember those words. But he did.

Mikey jammed out to the next few songs, he took a liking to the Carpal Tunnel of Love, and the lyric that Pete screams "call me in two years when you're better".

Then, Bang the Doldrums happened.

The beginning sounded like some song that belonged in a pirate movie. Mikey got into and started dancing a little until the first lyrics.

"I wrote a goodbye note in lipstick on your arm when you passed out."

Mikey stopped dancing and humming.

This one was about him.

Gee came home soon after Mikey finished listening. He gave his brother a big hug as he cried into bis chest.

"I didn't think i loved him this much still!" Mikey exclaimed between sobs.

"Hey, hey, it's okay to still love him."

"But the songs make it sound like he's over me!"

"I know, it's alright."

"I just want to see him again, then I could die a happy man I'm sure."

"Hey, hey, no," Gerard said, pulling away, "no dying just yet"

Mikey giggled and Gerard smiled at him.

Two months later, May, 23rd 2007.

Mikey received a text from a blocked number.

i know u listened to the album

He was confused. Who was this and why was their number blocked.

who r u ??

A second later his phone screen lit up again.

peter pan.

Mikey's body shook. It couldn't be.

Mikey slammed his phone shut and threw it onto the bed. This had to be a prank. Pete was obviously over him.

mikeyway listen to me

im gonna kill myself tonight and i want u to know i love u

Mikey dug his fingernails into his palms. No, he thought, this can't be real. He can't let that happen.

Then Mikey did a that Gerard would have scolded him for. He called Pete.
