A new day. Same Kat. Same job. Same routine.

Only that I was feeling reluctant to get up from my warm comfy bed...maybe I could just lay for a few minutes. Yes, a great idea indeed.

But Drake had other better ideas.

Pulling the curtains, he perched toward the edge of the window as if to say ' Wake up Kat, and spread your rays of bitchshine to the world'

That blasted dog. I should have left him with the Darwin's who were so bent on making Gaegogi Muchim out of him.

Maybe not. I don't think making a special appearance in a Bosintang buffet is taking any position on his bucket list soon.

"Fine Drake, I'll get up" I said making eye contact."Not because you're right, but because Gwen will have my ass if I don't" .

He just turned his head to the other side as if to say "Whatever makes you sleep at night" My only option was to stick my tongue out, that which I did.

I've officially gone loco.

I walked to the bathroom and examined myself. The same brown locks that refused taming, green eyes that are constantly hidden behind contacts, boobs could be compared to my 15 year old cousin and my long legs. I'm basically your average woman.

Minus the hot boyfriend part of course.

Sighing heavily, I brushed ,took a shower and got dressed under thirty minutes. New record, I thought.

Even Drake seemed a little surprised to see me out early, because he jumped down from my bed and rushed out with a speed faster than that of The Flash. Oh well.

Applying a little mascara and lip gloss, I made my way out of my room looking for my brown leather shoes. Shit, if I stay any longer I'm going to be fifteen minutes late.

Where could I have kept it, I pondered silently while I allowed my eyes to do a quick scan of the room until I spotted drake giving me puppy eyes. That's when it clicked.

Too angry to even speak, I followed him to the scene of crime and watched as he pulled my shoes from its hiding spot. Luckily for me, the shoes were still manageable to wear so I put them on and walked out giving him the cold shoulder.

It'll give him time to think about what he had done while I'm away.

I should be able to make it in five minutes, I thought as I started running down the streets. I mentally noted to apologize to the old folks I've brushed...more like pushed out of my way.

I stopped for a few minutes to catch my breath, I definitely do not have an athletic bone in my body. With my shirt soaking and me crouched with both hands on my knee, I might have passed off as a sumo wrestler....for the under 40kg category of course.

"Katerina Blaze Lockhart, I command you to stop right there this instant" Oh Cmon, of all the folks to run into, why her!

"Mrs Hudson, you look quite tired this fine morning, am I the reason for that?" I asked giving her an innocent smile.

"Don't flatter yourself Kat, my world does not revolve around you. I'm happily married with two great boys so my attention is kind of divided you know"

She chuckled mockingly " Oh who am I kidding, you wouldn't happen to know anything about that since you're still single and searching" She paused then continued," And with the rate you're going, you'll be cl-" I just couldn't let her finish that statement. For some strange reason every one in this town expected me to have married and be heavy with child.

I don't see that happening soon. Not because I don't want that kind of future but because I haven't met a guy that would want to be with me.

There, I said it.
