Down East Madison Street and inside the Olympic village, Johnny's IceHouse (The East Location) stood under the thick clouds overhead, which had been summoned by the "god" of the Hockey Heroes, Torey Krug.
Inside the building, Jordie Benn stood facing his opponent, Chris Pronger. Jordie was wearing an all black trenchcoat over dark jeans and he had a menacing scowl imprinted on his face. Pronger was in a black, silver and orange steel armored suit like Iron Man or Robocop. He also had a scowl on his face and his eyes shone with a wild ferocity.
In Pronger's hands and in his possession, he held an Auto-9, Weapon Arm (9 mm Calico M960, Missile Launcher, Flamethrower), Cobra Assault Cannon, Ordnance, Terminal Strip, Mini-gun/Cannon, and Flightpack/Recharging Station. While Jordie had a AMT Hardballer .45 Longside, Handheld GE M134 Mini-gun, Spas-12 Shotgun, Armalite AR-18 Assault Rifle, and M79 Grenade Launcher.
Pronger smirked and tested his long-range weapon, the Cobra Assault Cannon, in an attempt to show off and try to implant fear into Jordie, who rolled his eyes and readied his own weapon. The Cobra Assault Cannon could fire explosive rounds equivalent to that of a grenade launcher and is based on the Barrett M82A1 anti-material rifle. He pulled the trigger, and the Cobra Assault Cannon fired at a small dummy target sitting in the practice facility's home bench. When it made contact with the torso, it blew it up into flying pieces of flesh.
"Nice shot, Prongs. But all for not. I can totally top that!" Jordie chirped, shoving Pronger to the side to show of his own weapon and shooting skills.
Now Jordie brought out his own long-ranged weapon, the Armalite AR-18 Assault Rifle, which was an automatic weapon that could decimate an opponent from a distance. The Dallas Star defenseman took aim, waiting to get a good shot. He then pulled the trigger, causing the bullet to fly. The bullet pierced the skull of the dummy.
"Nice shot for a Dallas Star...it was cute...just like Jamie Benn, your dim-witted brother."
"Screw you!" Jordie pulled the trigger, and the bullets flew, tearing the target to bits. "DON'T YOU DARE BRING CHUBBS INTO THIS!!"
"Are we all warmed up now?" Pronger stated, sounding bored and annoyed.
"I've been ready to go, let's dance! I'd love to rip you apart limb-for-limb!" Jordie snarled. He opened fire on the Flyer, who fired back at him. Around them, the rink burst into flames and there were numerous explosions. Yet the building still managed to stay upright and in one piece as though it were built for durability against heavy weaponry.
Pronger and Jordie both knew that deadly force was necessary. Pronger took out his Auto-9 and shot Jordie. The bullets hit the side of his face, but they had no effect, save for a chip or two, revealing a shiny wound.
"Armor piercing rounds." Pronger switched the rounds of his Auto-9, and then began making his way further into the building, leaving the rink.
The mini-gun churned, sending bullets by the hundreds as the two of them wreaked havok on the western practice facility for the Chicago Blackhawks. The ex-Flyer quickly took cover behind a corner. He looked around the edge, but was shot at by the metallic assassin. Pronger turned once more and fired the armor piercing rounds, and this time the bullets had more effect. But still the inhuman Dallas Star stood his ground. Jordie's mini-gun fired, and this time the full force of the bullets hit Pronger and knocked him down. Jordie walked over to Pronger, and aimed the mini-gun at the ex-Flyer's head.
Suddenly, Pronger raised his weapon arm and fired the grenade launcher. The following explosion ruptured the building, and it sent Jordie flying away from him.
Eventually Pronger got back up and looked to see where Jordie had gone. He walked down the hallway and turned another corner. He smirked to himself and called out, "Hiding's not your thing Jordie, I'd never think of you as a coward type...what would Jamie say...in fact, what if I riddled Jamie with some of my bullets. Imagine that WONDERFUL sight!?"
Jordie's arm broke through a wall and wrapped around Pronger's neck. The Star pulled him through the wall and flipped him over. The Flyer landed hard onto the burning floor. "How about you shut up?!" Jordie grabbed him again and punched him in the face. Pronger responded by shoving him off of him. He then got back up just in time to dodge a swing from the Dallas player. Pronger connected with a swing that knocked Jordie to the ground.
The robot reached behind him and brought up his Spas-12 and shot Pronger, knocking him back. Jordie fired again, and again, and Pronger kept faltering. The cybernetic killer pulled the trigger again, and the gun clicked. He looked down and realized it was out of ammo. So, he looked back up just in time to see the Auto-9 fired an armor-piercing round into his chest, knocking him back this time by the force.
Jordie, however, would not go down so easily. This time he grabbed his grenade launcher and fired, and this time the building could no longer hold together. The arena half crumbled, and the two robotic combatants were buried underneath the rubble. Jordie knew he would have to apologize to Chicago, the Blackhawks and the NHL for the destruction, but he was focused on trying to defeat this villain.
Jordie's hand rose from the debris, and was followed by the rest of his body. He looked around him. At the same time, Pronger was making his way out of the building remains, a little more slowly.
Jordie grabbed his AMT and fired at the villain. Pronger dove to the side with a sudden surge of energy, trying to avoid the gunfire. He grabbed his weapon arm and opened fire with his machine gun. The bullets rained from both robots, however neither were achieving any progress.
The Dallas player grabbed his rifle and opened fire. Then he grabbed his grenade launcher. He fired and a zamboni behind where the Flyer was exploded. Pronger ignored the blast and lit Jordie on fire, but it had no effect. The Dallas Star grabbed his assault rifle and rained bullets into the Flyer. Pronger stumbled back, that is until the rifle clicked. Jordie threw the rifle to the ground, and it broke from the force of the impact. He then grabbed his reloaded shotgun. However at this time, Pronger grabbed his armor piercing rounds Auto-9 and opened fire on Jordie Benn.
Jordie responded in kind by firing off the Spas-12, and Pronger fell back. The two then traded blows with each other's guns, neither getting the edge over the other. Eventually Jordie got close enough and knocked Pronger through a wall. He then grabbed him and threw him across the room, and he landed with a hard thud against another wall.
Pronger staggered on his feet. "Tired yet Jordie baby?"
"You're the last person I want to hear EVER call me "baby"!" Jordie snapped.
Pronger activated something called a Terminal Strip, which was pretty much a detonator for Jordie. Aiming for his head, he rammed it into the defenseman's shoulder, after the Star had ducked the swipe and swung his head away. "You have the right to remain silent," said Pronger. He lifted his weapon to Jordie's face.
Jordie frowned and lifted the grenade launcher to Pronger's face. "You are TERMINATED." He pulled the trigger, and so did the Flyer.
The explosion engulfed both fighters, and the remaining structure and rubble around them from the facility blew up. (Whatever had once remained was now nothing...the site was just fire and ash and exposed, like there had never been a Johnny's IceHouse East Location.)
After a while, a hand broke the surface of the rubble. The figure walked over to his opponent and stared down at the unconscious robot.
"Hasta La Vista baby," Jordie chuckled, reciting the famous Terminator line. Then he staggered off from the scene with an obvious limp. He need to find a healer. He had to find Patrick Kane or Tyler Seguin.
