Tøny's Pøv

I saw the scars on her legs and wanted to cry. How could she do that to herself? Claire looked at me, confused. I walked up to her and took her hand. We went to my room.

"Is everything okay?" I ask her.

"I'm confused," she says.

"Your legs," I tell her. She looks down.

"Oh," is all she says. I saw tears in her eyes. She was trying to hold them in. I run over to her and hold her in my arms.

"You can tell me anything, I promise," I say. I hug her tight and she puts her face into my chest. I stroke her back and I could tell it calmed her because her breathing slowed down to its normal rate. I love her and I don't want her to feel like she's worthless.

"Thank you Tony," she whispers. I rest my chin on her head.

"I love you, and I will do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy and that you feel loved," I tell her.

"I love you too," she says. I take my chin off of her head and she moved back so that she could look at me in the eyes. Then I see her eyes move from my eyes to my lips. I then look at hers and she leaned in. I kiss her back. It was a short, but passionate kiss. She started to smile once we pulled away. I couldn't help but smile too.

"I'll always be here for you," I say, placing a stray strand of hair behind her ear. She hugged me tight and I held her, never wanting to let go. She started to cry and I started to tear up, seeing her like this. Instantly an idea popped into my head.

"I'll be right back Claire, don't worry," I tell her, squeezing her hand.

"Ok," her voice cracks. I run downstairs and grab 2 mugs. I make some hot chocolate and put marshmallows into our cups. I grab a warm, fuzzy blanket and my laptop and bring everything upstairs.

"Here you go," I say as I hand her, her hot chocolate. She starts to smile now like a little kid. I wrap the blanket around her and pick up my laptop. I turn on Netflix and we start watching a movie.

We were cuddled up like that all day. She eventually fell asleep on my shoulder. I shut off the computer and tried to fall asleep too. I shifted just enough to get my arms around her, but not wake her up.

I wasn't able to fall asleep though. I kept thinking about what could've happened to her that was so bad that she cutted. A tear rolled down my face. How could she ever hate herself that much? She is beautiful, smart, funny and nice. She is perfect.
