After another 6 hours school was finally over and everyone ran out the front doors. Gem ran all the way home and was surprised that Donna wasn't home before her. Taking her keys out of her backpack she was wondering why Donna wasn't home yet when there was a code 397. Gem took off her shoes, got the Nutella out of the cupboard, and ran upstairs to her room. She opened the door and threw her backpack on her bed. She put the Nutella on her desk and sat on her bed taking out her homework. When half an hour passed she heard the door open and close. After that she heard footsteps up to Donna's bedroom door and heard it slam shut. Another half an hour she finished her homework and got a text from Beth that said 911 emergency! I need help from you and Sam right now! Gem got up and got her keys out of her backpack and texted Sam to head to Beth's house. Gem ran downstairs as quietly and quickly as possible, got her shoes on, got her black skateboard with purple wheels, and ran out the door closing it behind her.
