Chapter 5: Its Kinda Awkward.

  I made it past the first week to my relief. I'm doing my first video diary. Joslynn is doing it with me.

        Joslynn sets up the camera and turns to me. "You ready?"

        I smirk "As ready as I'll ever be."

        She presses the button and the red light comes on.

        "Heyyyyyy guys. how yous doin?" Joslynn yells at the camera enthusiastically.

        I laugh, and wave at the camera. "Hey ya'll. Vas' happenin'?" and I wink.

        "Lisa, you like One Direction??" Joslynn looks at me with an eyebrow raised.

        "Yeah why? Are you a directionater??" I gasp.

        "No, no , no, I actually love them." She giggles.

        I chuckle and look back at the camera. "So anyways we just got past our first week in X Factor. Wooo! This is our first video diary so its kinda awkward."

        "Maybe we should tell you a little bit abou us. Lisa? You wanna start?" Joslynn points at me. 

       I clear my throat. And start my intro, yes, in song: 

       " I'm 17 years old

        I really don't like the smell mold

        im from Estacada, Oregon

        I knew a girl named Morgan

        I play softball, dance, and cheer

        I really don't like the taste of beer

        I volunteer at a pet rescue center

        I like rental.. movies

        if not a singer I wanna be an actress or a model

        penguins toddle

        or maybe a veterinarian or a photographer

        wow look theres a gopher ( I hold up a stuffed gopher )

        I like orange and blue

        ohhh I love you ( I point at my heart then the camera )

        yeahhh and I'm a total sucker for sweet guys

        ohh these are no lies"

        Joslynn begins her part also in song:

        "I am Joslynn

        it rhymes with possum

        im 15 years old

        I really don't like the cold

        im from Chicago, Illinois

         I aint no VILLAINois

        soon ill study to be a doctor

        don't be a mocker

        I do track & field and soccer

        don't be a thumb sucker

        I volunteer at a homeless shelter

        yeahh that's right imma helper

        my favorite color is purple

        guys give each other nurples

        I like boys with brown eyes

        and I like pies"

        I cheer. "Wooohhhh fabulous job. lets answer some questions. Okay our first question is from Jay and her question is 'Do you watch Walking Dead? If so who's your favorite?''

        Joslynn smiles and says "I like Rick. He's badass."

        I sigh. "Typical. I love Glenn. He's so cute and a total beast."

        Joslynn raises her eyebrows at me "Oooookkaaayyyy... Our next question is from Zo and she asks "If your life was ever made into a movie, who would you like to play you?"

        "I've always wanted Lucy Hale to play me. She's just so pretty and such a good actress."

        "I would want Emma Roberts to play me. She's really pretty and looks kinda like me, I think." Joslynn caresses her face.

        I giggle and reply "Yeah kind of. Our next question is from Case and she wants to know who we look up to."

        Joslynn's face lights up and she looks towards the camera. "I look up to Justin Bieber. His story just warms my heart. He came from nothing and followed his dream and now he's one of the biggest stars."

        I smile at her and turn to face the camera. "I look up to One Direction and Demi Lovato.  I look up to One Direction because they can be themselves in front of anyone. They get so much hate, being called gay and ugly. Yet they get through it. They made their dreams come true. And they try to make every single girl feel beautiful. I idolize Demi Lovato because she was bullied when she was younger too. She self harmed and had an eating disorder also. She got through all of this. I wanna be just like her."

        I give a friendly smile and shrug my shoulders. "Our last question is from KatyDee and she would like to know what we look for in a guy?"

        Joslynn chuckles "Well I look for nice guys who make me laugh and who are romantic."

        I smile "I like guys who have a good sense of humor, who have an outgoing personality but can be sweet. I also like also want a boyfriend who is like my bext friend. who I cant talk to you know?" I shrug and look towards joslunn while saying it. "But  overprotective cocky guys are a total turn off."

        Joslynn is starring at me now "Awwee that was sweet but funny too." she turns back to the camera. "Well that's it for now. Sorry if it was boring. But leave your questions at the bottom and we'll try to answer them next time."

        "Love you guise." We both blow kisses and then shut off the camera.
