It was a stormy day in May, the school year was going to be over in less than a month. Finally, I would be free from these walls. They enclosed me, and made me feel trapped.
Mrs. Brockton was blabbing her mouth about chemistry, and all i could think about was the awesome party I was having this weekend. I know that Scarlett was coming, the only virgin cheerleader left, and I was ready to add that tiny cute freshman to my list.
"Did you not hear me?" Mrs. Brockten said loudly, at me.
I cleared my throat and glanced at the board, luckily she usually wrote questions on the board.
"Of course I heard you m'am you're classes are so interesting. The answer is Chlorine."
She glared at me through her little glasses and turned back to the board. I noticed a girl sitting a few seats to in front of me, and to the right. She had long blonde hair. She was dressed in flannel and black jeans, and little boots that only went up to her ankles. Her arms were covered in tatoos.
Who was she? She had her feet up on the desk and she was loudly chewing a peice of gum.
Mrs. Brockton caught her immediately, "Brenna, I understand you are new here and all but that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want."
The girl kicked her feet of the table, ans spit out her gum. Looking Mrs. Brockton straight in the eye, she stuck the peice of gum under the desk.
"Young lady! This is not okay! This is a violation of our 5 rules. Do you even know them."
She smiled mishcheiviously, "No talking back, no eating in the classroom, no curse words, no PDA, and no bullying."
Mrs. Brockton looked at her in a slightly more pleased way, "Thank you Brenna. And you have already violated two of those, in the first five minutes."
"Well, fuck. Oh and by the way pig nose," she said turning to a boy named Harrison, "You will never get a girl to date you when you look like that."
"Brenna Taylor Sparks! That is four out of five! I know adjusting to a new enviroment can be difficult but is this really the answer? Just please sit down and I will not have to send you to the office."
That's it, I was fed up Mrs. Brockton. I decided to assist this new girl. I stood up out of my desk and walked over to Mrs. Brockton.
"Hey Brockton, I think she set a record for the most rules broken in one day."
And then, I leaned in and kissed her. She was an amazing kisser. Her lips glided against mine like butter. She wrapped her arms around my kneck and I grabbed her waste.
"Get off of eachother! Children like you are the reason adults say that your generation sucks. Both of you! Principal's office. NOW!"
She stopped kissing me, but gave me a wink before we both began our walk down the hall way.
"No way in hell am I going to go see Brian again, I had enough of him yesterday."
"Ah so you are the bad boy of the school huh?"
"I'm not bad, just fun."
"Well, Mr. Bad boy, let's do something fun."
We ran past the principals office and then into the cafeteria. I crouched behind a table, and she took my lead. It was still early, only 10:30. First lunch wouldn't start for another half an hour.
A janitor with a grey beard and big bags under his eyes, swept his way across the floor, leaving only a few minutes later.
"Where is the nearest exit with no camera?" She asked, scanning the walls.
"There is a door through the gym's supply room that is always open, and no one is ever near it, we can go through there."
We sneak past the english hall, and arrive at the gym. The only people present inside are Miss Peters, the drama teacher, and Mr. Evans, the PE teacher. They were flirting and eventually the disapeared behind the stage curtains, to do who knows what.
That's when we made our move, we shuffled across the gym floor, my sneaking squeeking and her boots clacking.
An announcement came over the speakers, "Liam Pence and Brenna Sparks are wanted in the principal office, I repeat Liam and Brenna please report to the principal's office.
I grabbed Brenna's hand and we escaped through the back. As soon as our feet hit the pavement outside, we broke out into a deas run. We sprinted as fast as we could until I called to her to stop.
I hopped in my black pick up truck and she sat next to me, putting her feet up on the dashboard. I felt like we were braking out of prison, aure I have ditched school plently of times. but never with someone else.
"So where should we go?" She asked tapping her fingers on the truck door.
"I was just going to go home," I told her truthfully.
She laughed, holding her stomach. Her blonde hair bounce up and down. She looked at me with her eye brows raised.
"I have a better idea, why don't we just drive? See how far we go? Where ever we run out of gas, we stay and do something until tomorrow morning."
She was good at being bad. The kind of kid your parents warned you about. The one who was dangerous, but so was I.
"What drugs do you take?" I asked her, with curiosity, she didn't look to have anything wrong with her skin or teeth.
"Exuse me? Drugs? Do I look like an addict to you?"
"Not at all, but you sure do act like one."
"Well, I'm just as bad as... do you do drugs?"
"Yeah."
She slapped my arm, and it caused me to swerve a bit, luckily the high way we were on was practically empty besides a car 1000 feet in front of us.
"Drugs can ruin your life you idiot."
She looked at me with mixture of anger and pity, but mostly anger. Her hands wer balled into fists and her teeth were clenched together.
"Don't worry darling, my life is already ruined."
