It is now June, school lets out in 3 weeks. Brenna is sitting beside me in my new truck. My mother felt bad about leaving me in jail, so she bought me it to make up for it.

We both had a cigarette between our teeth, as Brenna examined the truck, "It's nice. I like the leather seats."

"Let's go for a drive!"

"Where?"

"How about we drive until we run out of gas?"

She punched my arm, "Oh shut up you idiot, let's go to the mountain."

I grabbed her hand, which didn't have the diamond ring on it. She always kept it on her right, to show it wasn't a wedding ring. Her hair was shorter now, just below her shoulder and she had gotten a new tatoo, a star right next to her right eye, but other than that she was still the same as when we first met.

"So? Are you glad I made you my conquest?" I asked her, squeezing her hand.

She put her cigarette to her lips and turned to me with a smile, "So happy."

We reached the mountains only a few minutes later. It was a beautiful day, sunny and clear, we could see the whole town from here.

"Remember when we climbed that tree? I felt like I was on top of the world, like nothing could ever go wrong." She squeeled, admiring the view.

"I have to use the bathroom, I'll be right back. Be careful."

She rolled her eyes at me, "Oh come on you idiot, I'm a big girl."

I leaned down and gave her a kiss.

I trudged off into the woods. Suddenly I heard a scream come from her lips.

I sprinted back, full speed. And I was barely in time to see, the girl I love, the only girl who has ever made me like my life, trip over a rock and tumble over the side of the cliff.

"BRENNA! NO!!! FUCK!!!" I shouted.

I hoped to lean over and see her, perfectly fine, but I didn't see her at all. Quickly I pulled out my phone and dialed 911.

"Hello? Yes my name is Liam Pence and my Girlfriend, Brenna Sparks just fell off Gregor mountain. Please send help."

One Year Later...

I looked in the mirror, I was graduating. Graduating Class of 2016. I was a mess. There were bags under my eyes and my hair was bed head.

"Hey baby." She whispered in my ear. I barely noticed her. She kissed my kneck, and then my cheek, "I know what I want to do after the graduation ceremony.

I was fed up with Lily. I brushed her away, "Lily just go away, we had sex last night, that doesn't make you my girlfriend."

Lily crossed her arms and said something under breath, but I could hear it, "I should have killed you too."

I whipped my head back towards her, "Exuse me? Who did you kill?"

She wrapped her arms around me, planting a kiss on my lips, "Well, I killed my grandparents."

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? YOU LET BRENNA AND I TAKE THE BLAME?"

The thought of Brenna sent chills down my spine, it made the tears well up in my eyes.

"Well, duh. Brenna was smart though, she figured it out."

Now, Lily was laying on my bed. Her eyes trailing up and down her legs, like she was trying to play off all this news.

"So I guess you could say that all Brenna needed was a little 'push' for her to be out of the equation."

I was furious, more than furious. My fave was bright red and I punched a whole in the wall.

"YOU KILLED BRENNA? ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I LOVED HER!"

She laughed, like she thought it was funny. Like she thought murder was a joke.

"Not a big deal, besides who would ever believe you? You're a mess ever since she died, you have taken more drugs than I knew exsisted and slept with so many women, I don't know how you haven't gotten aids. But, she is dead."

The ceremony was over quicker than i thought it would be. I was a graduate. I was done with high school for good, but Brenna would never be. I reached into my pocket and took out the ring. The diamond ring I had stolen for her on our adventure.

Then, I threw it. I chucked it into the grass as far away as I could. I just needed to forget about her, clear my mind from all these thoughts.

I climbed into my car, and drove to the mountain. The sun was setting over the horizen and all I can remember is something that Brenna said to me, "Are you crazy I'm twenty feet up?"

I felt the same way as I looked over the side of the mountain, looking to where she died.

"Catch me Brenna." I said.

And I jumped.
