A starry night

Your (POV)
When I wake up its the middle of the night and I see Terra sleeping next to me and I'm still in my clothes and not in pajamas. I get up and get a glass of water. The events of the day play in your mind. 'Going for breakfast with Rogue, him ignoring me. Seeing Yukino and sting holding hands. Fighting Sting. Seeing him unconscious. Yukino saying she loves sting.' I decide I need to clear my mind. I put on some shoes and head out for a walk. I decide to go to the park. When I get to the park it looks so calm. The pond looks so still and clear while the moons reflection shines off of it. The trees leaves swaying gently as the soft wind pushes the branches. I find a bench and sit down just looking at the sky. It looks so beautiful. So many stars and the moon. The night sky has always brought me happiness. Suddenly I feel a hand rest on my shoulder and I quickly turn to see Rogue standing there. "Oh hey it's just you" I say calming down. "Hey.. I thought it might be you, can I sit down?" He asks motioning to the seat beside me and I just nod. He sits down beside me and we sit in silent for a moment. But it's not an awkward silence it's comfortable. He's the first to break the silence. "Look (Y/N) I wanted to apologize." "For?" I ask. "For how I acted this morning. I invited you to get breakfast and I completely ignored you. I am so sorry" he says. It's pretty dark so I can't really see his face but he sounds sincere. "And I want to make it up to you. If you will let me." He says. "Rogue, of course I forgive you, but what do you mean by make it up to me?" I ask. "Well I was wondering if you would like to go to breakfast with me in the morning" I'm always one for second chances so I agree. "Are you cold? You're not wearing a sweater and it's pretty chilly out here" he says. "I'm fine don't worry about it." I say. Suddenly I feel something heavy around my shoulders. And when I look it's Rogues cape. "No really Rogue I'm fine" I say as I start pulling the cape off but I feel hands on mine. "No I wouldn't want you getting sick, besides I have long sleeves and I want you to be warm" he says. I relax. "So how was your date with sting?" He asks nonchalantly. Then I remember him and Yukino together. "I really don't want to talk about him." I say trying to forget about him. "Is there any lucky guy in your life?" He asks. "Well there is a guy I'm kinda falling for" I say. He suddenly looks hopeful. "Oh really? Who?" He asks. "Umm just a pink haired idiot in my guild" "natsu?!" He asks. It's not exactly asking it's more like exclaiming. "Yeah I mean he's strong, handsome, funny, cute, he's the whole package." I say. Rogue just looks so surprised. I burst out laughing. "You should have seen the look on your face!!!" I say still laughing. "What?" He looks so confused. "You thought I liked natsu!! That's priceless!" I say. "B-but that's what you told me" he sounds offended. "I just wanted to see your reaction. Which was hilarious. No no I could never like natsu I only see him as more of a brother." I say suddenly it got quiet. "I see" he simply says. "Yeah.." I'm suddenly lost in thought. "He's like the family I never had, growing up my family was my dragon dad but suddenly one day he left me. After that I was left alone to fend for myself, for years I was all alone. Until I met natsu, he saved me from my loneliness he became like a brother to me and introduced me to Fairy Tail." Suddenly I feel something warm going down my cheek and I realize it's a tear. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to take up your one with my stupid life." I say wiping away the tear. "No it's not bother at all, I love hearing you talk and spending time with you" he says and suddenly I feel warmth around me. I notice that he's hugging me. I don't make an effort to push him away or anything. The hug is actually kinda nice. And suddenly I feel myself blushing. He lets go and I feel myself wanted to be in his arms again. But I just awkwardly sit there in silence. I try coming up with something to say to break the silence, but I can't think of a single thing to say. "When's your birthday?" He asks. I find the question a bit random but I answer with (Y/Bday). "Oh really? It's coming up, what do you want for your birthday?" He asks. "No no I don't want anything, you don't have to get me anything." I say. "But I want to get you something" he says and I can't really see him but I think he's pouting. "No really you don't have to get me anything." I insist. "Fine. I'll just have to surprise you and hope you like what I get you." He says. I let out a small giggle. "Fine if you insist, but you better not spend a lot on me, If you can just don't spend any on me at all" I say. He laughs. "Whatever you say" he says, but I feel like he won't listen to me anyways. "It's getting late how bout I walk you home?" He asks and I agree. We stand up and walk towards my house in silence. Again it's not and awkward silence it's a comfortable silence. We make it back and I open the door to my house but before I walk in I turn back to Rogue "I look forward to tomorrow" I say. "As do I" he answers softly. I hug him and at first he seems shocked but then hugs me back. Then we let go. "By e see you tomorrow." I say. He nods in return and I walk in to the house. I walk to my room and am about to change into pajamas when I realize I'm still wearing his cape. It's too late to give it back he's probably to far by now I'll just give it back tomorrow. As I take it off I catch whiff of his smell. He smells heavenly. I set his cape on my desk chair. I change into pj's and climb into bed. As soon as my head hits the pillow I fall asleep.
