"What's going on Perrie?" I asked and took another step towards her, she continued to keep her silence. "I need you to talk to me Perr, everyone is talking and I know you know what the talk is about."

She started chuckling -

"I don't know why you're dressed up." My mom leaned on the counter, bringing me back to the present. I continued to stir my coffee cup, ignoring her. "Daria Elizabeth, why are you dressed?" Her voice is becoming impatient and demanded an answer.

"I'm going in late, I have a test I can't miss-"

"As long as that psycho is out, you're not leaving this house. I made myself clear on this last night, the day before-"

"It's not your choice anymore mom." It was my turn to cut her off. Her eyebrows raised, and her blue eyes almost bulged out of her head. I sat my coffee down, and sighed. "I'm 18 now, I'm an adult and I make my own decisions. You may have suggestions for me, but you don't make decisions for me anymore."

It felt so good to not bite my tongue with her. She nodded her head, as if she's taking this all in.

"Well, Miss.Adult, I suggest you to never talk to me like that again because I will put you out faster than you think. You want to go to school, go. Just stay away from her. "

I immediately grabbed my bag and left the house before she changed her mind, or tried to pick another fight. I didn't waste a second getting in my car, and speeding off to school.

I can't get her off my mind. I can't even if I tried. Thinking about her makes my stomach swirl. I can't afford to slip up this test because of her, her and Owen.

"Why have you been avoiding us, D?" He tried to come in, but I leaned on the door frame so he couldn't weasel his way in. I watched his face go from confusion to realization. "Oh, you're on the bandwagon with everyone else." He crossed his arms.

I sighed, "For crying out loud Owen, open your damn eyes! She's playing you!" I stomped my foot, and he slowly began to back away from me.

"She doesn't need you anyways, she doesn't need a fake friend." He tried to turn away, but I grabbed his arm and made him face me.

"Owen, she did it. I don't know what she has been telling you, but she did it." I wanted to continue to try to open his eyes, but he pried out of my grip and walked off my porch.

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

Green light.

I'm still in my car. Why am I in my car? Where was I going? Was I going to Owen's - SCHOOL!

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

I began to take deep breaths and continued on my route.
