You see me burn
But inside I know you yearn
Because we covered this distance together
For so long
So I will never let this go wrong
I know you have your fears
But you have to understand that I hate tears
It doesn't make me weak though
Instead
It brightens my glow even more...
I know you deliberately tear your eyes away
But why do you hide from me your dark days?
I know it's not easy for you to sway
Let alone
Hide this love in different ways
But baby we will be all right
I will try my best to be your light
Even if it takes all my might
It's your face and your sight
That holds me against you so tight
No matter if it's a dark night...
