I hear my step dad bang on the door.
I'm not scared anymore.
I have Dan and Phil by my side.
It's finally time I stand up to him.
"IM NOT UNLOCKING THIS DOOR, I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY." I shout.
"I'm sure you wouldn't mind me braking down this door then." He snaps back.
"I'm sick of this, I'm calling 999." I say.
"NO! DON'T THINK ABOUT YOUR MOTHER ELLA!" He screams.
"I think she'd rather have me alive thanks." I say.
My fingers start to shake while I turn on my phone and press the buttons 999.
"999 what's your emergency." I hear a calm voice say."
"Uh... It's my step dad, Ross. He's abusing me and is threatening to brake down the door. I live at 5 Rainbow Road. Please hurry." I tell them.
It's been 15 minutes and the police still aren't here.
Ross is looking like he's about to break down the door at any second and I'm terrified.
I've done the right thing. It's okay.
Ross somehow manages to break down the door...
Thankfully, as soon as he steps in I hear the sirens.
However, Ross gets one last hit with his bat right on my head.
And everything goes black.
