chapter 4

First order of business: apologies. I have not been updating and that is entirely my fault. I'm sorry for making everyone who reads this wait for another chapter. Second: I am soooooo thankful for 100+ reads, it means alot to me really. All seriousness aside, tiem for the fanfic~Juhi!! \(^-^)/

~Flash's POV~

'This is not right....' I thought as I listened to the conversation. Tsuki had seen something she didn't like within this girl, She looked as if she were worlds away. I sighed internally and payed attention for her, in case she wanted to know what went on while she was thinking.

"I don't want to talk about it, understand?! I don't like remembering!"Casey-kun was suddenly upset.

I believe Lucy-san asked her something beforehand which triggered this. But, then again, who wouldn't come to that conclusion?

Tsuki seemed to have been brought back to Earthland when she heard Casey-kun's inhuman tone.

" uhm... Whta did I miss?" She whispered into my ear.

I sighed in exasperation and whispered back "Just some small talk Ja?

Tsuki made a pointed glance at Casey and Lucy and sarcastically replied "Ah, I see, just your everyday small talk here in the guild hall?"

I smiled slightly but it dissapered quickly as I heard Sobbing "Okay maybe there was a triggering topic or two. But you may want to try comforting her now."

Tsuki looked over to Casey, who was on the floor sobbing into her hands, and quickly lept up to help her.

I unfurled my wings so as not to hit the ground and swooped over towards the other Exceeds in the guild to watch.

~Tsuki POV~
As soon as Flash said that I looked up to see Cat, on the floor crying her eyes out.

My heart aches for her, even though I knew that she was tricking everyone here.

She looked so similar to me so long ago that I felt tears welling up in my own eyes as I jumped up to go to her side.

I went to my default state of mind, try to make them happy again, but stopped as a memory made its way into my mind's eye.

It was a cool afternoon in Bokuso-chi village, but there was something wrong. Rosa, one of the daughters of the village leader, was crying on the porch of her house. A 5-year-old Tsukikage walked over to her and sat with her. "Rosa?" The young girl asked. "What's wrong?"

Rosa looked over to her beloved sister and sobbed "Ginnie is dead". Ginnie, their St, Bernard, 13 years of age. Rosa was the dogs owner, and she had shared a close bond with the kanine and was most devastated by his departure.

"Well, maybe he'll finally be able to catch a rabbit now" Tsuki said.

Rosa, however, wasn't having any of it. "Don't make jokes like that Tsuki!" She yelled, causing her younger sibling to jump and give a bewildered look.

Tsuki was shocked. 'Why did she get so mad? I was only trying to help.' She stomped through the house and passes he mother in the hallway.

"Woah, lil stompling of mine!" Her mother's clear, soothing voice reached out to her and made her turn and see why her mother had stopped her sulking.

Evony, the leader's loving wife, strong and caring, slow to anger as well.
"I tried cheering Rosa up, but she got mad at me instead!!" Tsuki explained

"Hmm, well, Tsuki. This is a really serious matter. Jokes won't make this better." Evony pulled the young girl to a chair and sat her in her lap "In these situations, empathy works say better."

"Empathy? What's that?" Tsuki asked. "Well, empathy is when you share and understand someone's feelings, and support them through their tough times." Evony replied. "So do you want to try again?"

Tsuki nodded solomnly and left to make her sister feel better again.

'Why am I remembering this now?' I thought for a minute before it chicked, as much as I might hate it, I'm going to have to cry with Casey to comfort her at all.

I kneeled down next to her and let my tears fall with hers.

I forgot to put a disclaimer at the beginning of the chapter~Juhi ._. Sad day~Juhi. Whelp I don't own Fairy Tail or Casey. There. Anyways I know this is a kinda short chapter but I just needed to get something up before school starts up again T^T my freedom is at an end~Juhi!!
