imagine this...

It's Time

BUM BUM BUM BUM BUM... my heart was nearly beating out of my chest. My palms sweaty, and my knees weak. I cant believe I'm actually about to go thru with this. Have I lost my mind? I must be completely insane to actually do this. [sigh] I should just take a deep breathe and relax, except I think I just forgot how to breathe....

y/m- y/n.... y/n. I know you hear me talking to you girl.

y/n- Huh? Oh sorry mom I got caught up in my thoughts for a second there.

y/m- y/n it will all be fine I promise. Now smile it your big day baby.

y/n- [smiles] yeah I guess you're right mom, I'm just over thinking everything like usual haha.

y/m- I cant believe my little girl is all grown up, you're not my little baby anymore.

y/n- Stop it mom you're gonna make me ruin my makeup [wipes stray tears].

y/m- You're right baby I'm sorry.... You look so beautiful. Just like the princess I taught you to be. I'm so proud of the woman you've grown to become.

y/n- Hm thanks momma. I learned form the best.

y/m- I know that's right baby

Just as i got ready to speak someone knocked on the door and said "its time". There goes those damned butterflies again. That once cool, calm, and confident woman I once was just jumped out the nearest window, and replaced with a shy girl that like a newborn doe cant seem to walk to save her life. My breathing gets heavy all over again, and my hands begin to shake as a walk down what seems to be a never ending hallway. I finally make it to the end all I see is a huge old oak wood door and my dad standing tall and proud. He's in a black tux with a very subtle white silk accent to compliment. He smiles at my mom as she passes by to take her seat. As my mom sits down, the wedding coordinator hands me my bouquet made of purple, white, and black roses.

y/d- You ready baby girl?

While exhaling I said "about as I will ever be haha."

Trying to calm my nerves, I stared at the closed doors, they were literally the only thing standing between me and my new life. I was about to become a whole new person, a new name, new house, everything brand new. Music began to blare thru the door from the other side. The doors slowly opened and a soft light began to shine thru. This was it, it was time, there's no turning back now. It was time to take the first step, that first step was the one that scared the hell out of me. I took a deep breath, and closed my eyes. I can do this I know I can. I opened my eyes again and smiled my brightest. I locked my arm in with my dads and began to walk. I looked in front of me and there he was. My angel, my knight, my king. He was like my best friend and protector all rolled into one. His brown eyes piercing into my soul, his smile warm and comforting. It was like his smile made everything else disappear and I knew everything would be just fine. As I passed the pews I could hear all the gasps and awes but i could only focus on my future. An all white grand piano played the sweetest melody ever know to man, but the melodies of my fairy tail was all I could seem to comprehend. As we reached the alter my dad placed a small kiss on my forehead.

He looked at Daniel with the softest eyes. "Take care of my baby girl please."

Dig smiled his signature smile and simply replied, "you have my word, I wouldn't have it any other way."

My dad took his seat next to my mom and Digs parents. Then it all began.

Pastor- Who gives this woman away to this man?

My parents stood and in unison said "we do" before retaking there seats.

Dig looked in my eyes again with these soft piercing beautiful brown eyes of his and whispered "I love you so much." He looked as if he was about to cry, but being the proud man he is he held it in.
