Gray's P.O.V
Sneaking out the back door, I had finally swam away from the prison. "Man I'm gonna get fired for this.. My first high paying job and now I'm screwing it up.." I grumbled. "Well I can't stand watching a poor girl be killed for a crime she may have not done.."
"Hey when are you going to stop talking to yourself!?" A girl with long wavy blue hair shouted. Then she gasped looking at me. "S-Sorry that was rude of me.. I'm Juvia" She looked away from me with a shy flushed face.
"I'm Gray. Hey your a mermaid-" "Thats right your a shark and I just meet you but can I called you Gray-sama?!!" She beamed. Before I could answer she threw her arms screaming "GRAY-SAMA!!!" "AAAH" I went rolling down the sandy hill.
"Juvia is it? WOULD YOU PLEASE GET OFF" I shouted trying to escape her death hug. "Sorry Gray-sama~" She giggled letting me go but still gripped my arm.
"Listen, I don't have much time. Do you think you could help me?" Her eyes grew wider at each word I said. "Of course Juvia well help her beloved Gray-sama~" I blushed quickly looking away. "I-I never said you could call me that" I grumbled.
For A second I didn't hear a response. I looked over with my eyes to find her peacefully smiling with her eyes gently closed. I smirked enjoying her relaxed state. "So what does Gray-sama need help with?" She beamed.
"Do you know a girl that matches the description of a dirty blonde with long hair and glasses?" I asked. "No. But my mom knows everyone I'm sure If I take you to her she would be able to help." She grabbed my hand and swam. "Wow your fast!!" I shouted trying to keep up.
I told Juvia's mom the Queen of Mermaids everything about the case she and her daughters wasn't allowed to attend. She was furious but quickly calmed herself down. "Now explain the the girl" She demanded hissing. "Long dirty blonde hair with glasses" I said with a hint of fear.
"Thats the disguise the wicked squid. She takes the form of any sea creature when powerful enough. Her name was Evergreen before she was dragged into the dark side after I banished her years ago. She must be stopped! She'll cause chaos all over the sea!" The woman finished.
"We don't have much longer! where can she be found?" "The far south in the dirty waters. Before you go you must take this.." She gave me her throne stick. "It'll protect you from evil" I nodded a thank you.
"Wait I'm coming with you!" Juvia cried out. "No!! It's simply to dangerous!" Her mother grabbed her. "Then you have plenty of other daughters to rule.." Juvia snapped ripping away from her mother, and swam away from me.
"Lets do this.." I took her hand swimming towards the south.
