"Mom, no, I'm not gay. That's a sin remember?" I shouted at my mom, who just smiled at me. Isn't it crazy how I'm taking offense to something I have no clue of the meaning that's even behind it.
"It's alright honey, we're getting you cured, we leave tonight," my mom smiled, as my dad walked in the room.
"Dad, dad please tell her she's crazy, she gone buzerk," I yell.
My dad quickly smacks me across the face, no regret in his eyes. "We are Christians. Gay is a sin, and I as a pastor will not be known for having a gay child. You are gay, and you, will not raise your voice with me or your mother again, understood?" My father barks, refilling his coffee mug, as I held back my tears.
"Y-yes father, I will pack," I begin up the stairs.
"Your stuff is already packed son, after this speech about the the government goes off. Which is five minutes we can leave okay?" He says as more of a command then a question. I just nod my head, and walk upstairs and stare at my ceiling. Knowing I won't be seeing this until school starts up again next year.
"I don't even know what gay means, how could I be gay?" I whisper to myself, as I lay on my bed.
