Chapter 4:
Mitch wasn't very happy when I dropped him off but I told him he could stay tomorrow so he hyped up a little bit but not much. When I walk into the front door I sigh tiredly and put my keys in the basket by the door.
"Evangeline!" Dean calls out and I walk around the corner to see him sitting on the couch with basket ball shorts and a shirt on. I wonder how long he has been home. When he sees me he smiles largely but it quickly falls. Coming to a stand he stops infront of me and looks at me worriedly. "Are you feeling okay? What's up?"
"It's just been a really long day I need to sit." he nods and swoops me up taking me over to the couch. He doesn't let me go though and sits down with me on his lap.
"Talk to me baby."
Looking into his eyes I say "Mark Larson talked to me today."
Dean's face morphs into one of anger and he holds me closer to him. "What did he say?" he asks through clinched teeth.
Tracing his scar I see him calm a little so I mumble "He said we were making it hard on ourselves and that the boss wouldn't let you go easily because you were the best."
Dean scoffs and looks out the balconies doors. "I'll handle it."
Grabbing his face in between my hands I say. "No. Dean I don't want you any where near those people. Pray about it because nothing is stronger than God."
"I will but if anyone else looks at you the wrong way or breathes your air that I don't like I'm taking it into my own hands." With a tired sigh I nod and rest my head in the crook of his neck. "Let's get you to bed little one."
.
When I wake up the next morning I wipe my eyes confused looking at the bed beside me. Wiping my eyes I stretch with a yawn and climb out of bed going out of the room.
I cock my head when I see Dean sitting on the couch gazing at the television. His hairs all messy and he has big bags under his eyes from where he got no sleep.
Going over to him I climb ontop of him straddling his lap to get his attention. He gives me a small smile and rests his hands on my hips. "Why aren't you in bed?" I ask him gently.
Dean sighs and runs his fingers through his messy hair. "I couldn't sleep." he says making my frown deepen.
"We'll be fine Dean, God sin't going to let anything happen to us that isn't going to make us stronger in someway." I cup his face with my hands and give him a soft smile looking him in his honey eyes that I love so much.
"I know little one I just worry about you."
With a smile I wrap my arms around his neck and give him a small peck on the lips. "You don't have to worry about me baby. Everything Is going to be okay."
Dean wraps his strong arms around me and brings me to his chest holding me there like im going to vanish at any moment. "I love you Little one. I don't want to ever be without you."
Laying my head on his chest I say seriously "As I love you Dean. I not going anywhere ever."
Dean stands making me wrap my legs around his waist. "Lets get you to bed little one."
I chuckle at that because he's the one that has to get up in two hour to go to work. "Mitch is coming tonight." I remind him as he sets me in the bed. "He'll probably want to play video games."
Dean chuckles at me and gets into the bed beside me wrapping his arms around me tightly. "I can never beat him." Dean complains and I grin because no one can beat Mitch COD is his favorite game.
