When Sunday gets here Dean and I walk into the Church with smiles on our faces. "My Lovely." Mary beams giving me a tight hug when she sees me. Maverick chuckles as he gives Dean a man hug asking how he's doing.

Mary and I walk away to the other lady's as they start to talk. We sit in our usual pew and talk about nothing until Heaven comes over and sits beside us. "Blaze isn't happy with you." she sates and I sigh because when is the man happy with me. I'm not his wife but he always seems to be on my case.

"What did I do this time?"

"You bought me a Taser and pepper spray." she states and I sigh. "He's telling Dean all about it now so I hope you told him about the gun."

"Gun?!" Mary shouts loudly and I shush her when everyone in the sanctuary turns to look at us. She quiets down and blushes a little from the attention before she turns back to us and whisper yells "Gun? Eva why do you need a gun?"

"Calm down Mary it's no big deal."

"No big deal." she says in disbelief.

"What's no big deal?" Jess asks sitting beside us in the pew and I sigh because this just got a lot more dramatic.

"Eva bought a gun." Mary states throwing her hands in the air not impressed.

"What?!" Jess shouts not at all caring that everyone turns to look at her. "Why?"

"Shh Jess be quiet." I hush her apologizing to everyone around us. "It's not a big deal."

Jess scoffs and says "It is a big deal Evangeline no one just goes out and buys a gun and it be no big deal."

"A gun?" says and new voice and I sigh looking up at Shena.

"Nothing." I say tired of explaining myself to everyone.

"Eva bought a gun." Jess says and I roll my eyes at her.

Shena gasps concerned and sits on the pew taking my hands in hers. "Why do you need a gun."

"It's no big deal I just bought a gun."

"And a Taser and Pepper spray." Deans deep voice says when him and the guys make their way to us.

Sighing in relief I stand when Pastor motions for me. I give Dean a kiss on his cheek and go to the front quickly but not without seeing everyone's look of this isn't over.

"Evie what's this I hear about a gun?" Momma asks when I walk into the door after church.

"Momma." I sigh and she raises a brow at me challenging me. "I just wanted to buy a gun."

"Is someone harassing you?" she asks me coming around the island. She puts her hand on my shoulders and looks me over closely. "You know you can tell me if someone is messing with you right?"

I nod with a smile on my face. "I know momma."

She still looks concerned but she nods and lets me go going back to her cooking. "Okay baby just remember im here when ever you want to talk."

"Thank you momma." I tell her gratefully going out onto the patio where everyone else is.

Dean grabs my arm when I make my way to the seat beside him. He pulls me onto his lap and I smile giving him a kiss. "I didn't know you bought Heaven a Taser and pepper spray." he states and I shrug.

"It's not a big deal."

"It is." Blaze insists and I look over at him. "I understand shes your best friend and you want to keep her safe but you only scared her more."
