                "Good morning."

"morning." She passed me in the hall without noticing, again. I can't believe that I'm friends with her.. She can be so nice when she wants to be.

"How was your school year?" I ran up beside her and looked down at her.

"Look Elliot, I really don't wanna talk right now.. I kinda had a bad day." Lorena hid her face with her natural light brown hair. She is so beautiful, I don't think she even realises it.

"Is it your dad again.?" I asked carefully, Lorena's dad was a touchy subject. Her dad is not a great guy.

"Yeah, he's been a problem again.." I noticed Lorena quickly pulled down her sleeves and hold them.

"Did he get to Launa?" I asked softly, I couldn't stand Lorena's father, he should be punished for what he's put Lorena through.

"No, thankfully he didn't get to my sweet little sister." She looks straight forward, tears in her eyes but still trying to hide all of her emotions.

Lorena and I had been friends since we were kids, Her mom would always hide out at my house when Lorena's dad was having one of his bad days. Lorena's mother was a strong women, never crying in front of us kids. Always talking about how everything would be okay and about how God has a plan for them; but Lorena's mother isn't around anymore..

They would try to act like everything was okay, but as soon as you looked away from them their faces would change. You could see them show how sad they were if you looked out of the corner of your eye carefully. They'd never cry when you could see them and Lorena tries not to cry around anyone, but she cries around me sometimes. She doesn't do it very often though.

"Oh, I need to go.. My dad was expecting me home a few minute ago.." Lorena started running and waved back at me.

"Bye Elliot." She turned back around and kept running.

                "Bye Lorena."
