I only got 5 hours of sleep last night because i was stressing over this number. Maybe he was waiting for me to call. Wait, He is. He doesn't have my number. Why didn't i realize this before? I could've been talking to him this whole time. I instantly scrolled through my apps and found my contacts. I went to "add contact" and i put the name "Luke?" I wasn't sure so i wasn't going to just put "Luke <3" i texted a simple
"Hey i got this number yesterday and I'm a little confused on who this is."
About three minutes went by and my phone lit up with the text
"Meet me at the Walgreens across the street from the Cafe ASAP."
What? what just happened? Is this the wrong number? Did he give me the wrong number and this is a serial killer that is just willing to kill anyone? I can't go but then again what if it was him? I can't just leave Luke there all by himself. Okay ill go but i am not going unarmed. Ill bring my lipstick knife. Its this Knife in a lipstick container. My mom got it so i have a secret weapon on me 24/7. I never thought i would need it but apparently my mom was thinking when she got me this.
I pulled up to the Walgreens across the Cafe and i saw nobody else there. Just like i thought. It was probably just a prank or something. Well i was at Walgreens so i might as well go get some snacks for my next movie session. I walked into the candy isle and what i saw was much sweeter than candy. It was him. He was actually there. Wow, he actually wanted to see me. Me out of all people, but why? Im guessing i'll have plenty of time for questions later but i have to say something now. I smile then say
"By any chance do you work here?"
He turns his head and laughs then says
"You actually made it. I thought you wouldn't show up."
I finally got to ask the question I've been waiting to ask
"Am i the only person you gave your number to or are there other girls on their way?"
He laughed then said
"The reason why i gave you my number is because i had to see you again. When you're as big as us we don't really get the time to go around flirt with the cute girls we want to. But since you were right in front of me i wasn't about to let you just walk past me like the other girls so i took matters into my own hands and gave you my number."
I smiled to show him that i was happy that he did that and he interrupted the silence by saying
"And look! It worked right? You're here and i don't think I've made such an amazing decision in a long time."
I nodded then we walked towards to cashier together.
