Today was the day! I was finally moving to Stockholm in Sweden. The only reason I am moving is because my dad got a promotion and they want him to be in Sweden for it. I'm just lucky that I have friends that already live there. Obviously I will miss my friends here in Quebec. But it is a new start. We have been living here in Quebec for my whole life. And I can't wait for this change. I know that it is a huge one but its for our future. I looked at my phone from the bedside table. It was 6 am and I was wide awake. I've never been this surprised in my life! Might as well get in the shower before my sister does! I told myself as I grabbed my towel and some clothes. I turned the shower on and locked the door. When I jumped in all I could think about was Shawn Mendes' new song, Something Big. I couldn't help myself from singing it.
After half an hour in the shower. I finally stopped singing and dryed myself off. I then put my long, white tailed hem dress on and my wedges. When I unlocked the bathroom door, I saw my sisters door swing open. "I'm king of the radio!" She screamed making us all jump and to make my parents swing open the door to see what the racket was about. "Laurence!, what have we told you stop singing out loud!" My mom said in her pj's. "Yeah we don't want glass everywhere!" I say to her and she gives me a death stare. "I hate you Megan, sometimes!" She says. "Awe. I love you too!" I yelled as she rolled her eyes and barged pass me to get in the shower. I left her in there and got out my make-up bag and my curlers. I quickly blow dryed my light brown, waist length hair and curled it to perfection. Then I put a little bit of make-up on. Just when I was finishing off, my phone started to ring. It was Cameron! "Hey, babe! Did you sleep well?" I could hear his morning voice. Gid how much I loved it! "I slept well but listen before I go can I meet you down at the park? I need to talk to you." I asked nervously biting my bottom lip, like always. "Sure meet you there at 8!" We hung up and then all these thoughts went through my head. But I still want to be with him! Don't leave him he will be heart broken! You will never find somebody like that again! I stopped thinking negative and grabbed by phone as I finished my make-up and the park was a good 10 minute walk from my house and it was 7:10 am. I told my mum what I was doing and she agreed that it would be for the best. I went on Instagram and twitter to pass the time. I got a notification from both social media. Oscar Olly Molander started following you! Who the heck was this guy?! When I checked out his pofile I realised that he was part of a group that my sister likes. I think they are called the Fooo, or something like that! It was now 7:50 and I left the house with no jacket or anything and holding my phone in my hand as I walked down to the park.
When I walked into the park (the picture above) I saw Cameron already there, waiting for me. I ran to him and he picked me up and spun me around and kissed my cheek. "So what did you want to tell me?" He says as he told my hands in his. "Listen you know that I like you, a lot. But I can't do long distant relationships. And I thinks its best to stay friends." I say as I could feel tears welling up inside me. He nodded and hugged me one last time and let me go. I could see aggression in his eyes. Sometimes he could be a little violent but that was only because he loved me. I walked back to the house. Everything was done and all we had to do was go to the airport and start our new lives.....
