A Night At Vegas

Chapter 9

DIANA'S POV
Reina had just fallen asleep with her little head on my shoulder and hugging her backpack,She looked so adorable.I had tried sleeping but I couldn't process everything that was going on,I wasn't only going to have to survive myself but now I had a 5year old I have to love and take care of.It wasn't just me anymore,Im going to have to think of something,What am I gunna do when I start working? I couldnt leave her alone at the house.

All the thinking caused me to have a huge headache,and finally I slept,it was one of the best and most relaxing naps I've ever taken,I felt relieved I dont know why tho.
--2 Hours Later--
Reina: " Diana?,Sister? Wake up we're here." I opened my eyes to see Reina's beautiful blue eyes looking directly at me with a huge smile on her face.I looked around and yes!,we were here I'm guessing it was late at night since it was so dark.
All the passengers were escorted to the door of the plane I grabbed my stuff and Reina's hand we walked to the front door of the airport,I had rented a car ahead of time, and had asked the lady that received my call to go ahead and leave it at the airport with the keys hidden in the part with the battery and all that junk,so I looked around the parking lot and saw the vehicle it was a blue dodge charger it was beautiful.I searched for the keys,When I finally found the keys, Reina and me stored our stuff in the back part of the car but I made sure to leave space for Reina to sit.
We got in as soon as all the junk was in the car,and I drove to the Apartment I bought a few days ago it was a penthouse to be exact it was huge there was 3bedrooms,2restrooms,a kitchen,a dining room,the living room,a studio,a gaming room,a pool (it was in a room it wasn't huge it was only 3.5ft deep ),there was also a mini bar,It was perfect for me and for Reina.When we got to the building where my apartment was located I carried the luggage to the door with Reina close to my side ,The reception lady looled tired but still smiled to see us .
Receptionist:"Hello,How may I help you?"she said very polite btw
Diana:"Yes,um,I bought the penthouse a few days ago so I'd like the key please"
Receptionist:"okay,may I know your first and last name please"
Diana:" Diana Henderson"
The receptionist looked at her computer and typed a few times
Receptionist: " Here you go" she said handing me the key
Diana: " Thank you,Perla"I said looking at her name tag
Perla: "No problem,whatever you need dont mind to call me ,here"she said handing me a paper with a number and her name on it," I'm sure we'll be good friends"
I smiled
Diana: " I'm sure we will,thank you once again"
Perla directed her eyes to Reina
Perla: " is she your daughter?"she looked at me I didnt know what to say
Diana:"umm...no she's my sister her name is Reina"
Perla:"oh, y'all dont look much alike tho?"
Diana:"We got to go,but I first wanted to ask you if you'd like to have lunch with us tomorrow,If your not busy"
Perla: "I'd be glad to,thank you,I'll see ya tomorrow then
And with that we smiled at each other and me and Reina headed to the elevator to our new life,and home.
