Chapter 5: Lavi's Party/Confessions

After he felt better Kanda decided to leave as he was heading out the door he stops and looks at Allen "hey Allen...."

Allen had a small blanket wrapped around his shoulders he looks at him curiously "yes Kanda?"

"You don't have to worry about me telling anyone I'll take your secret to my grave this I promise you," he wanted to protect him to keep him safe no matter what.

Allen smiled "that means so much to me thank you" he didn't know why but something was telling him to trust him.

Kanda blushes a bit rubbing the back of his head "I should get going and get ready for tonight see you at 6:00 then?"

Allen moves in front of him tiptoes and whispers in his ear "see you tonight~" he smiles before landing a kiss on his cheek smiling as he heads up the stairs.

Kanda touches his cheek blushing a bit he smiles he heads out the door whistling while walking back home. "I should get him something nice like a gift I wonder what he will like," he says to himself he couldn't get Allen out of his mind.

Allen waits till Kanda leaves to go back downstairs as he slides across the living room floor spinning around happily and laughing. "Yes!" plopping on the couch excited about tonight "I'll wear something cute something that will make him say whoa."

He smiles happily as he heads up to his room looking through his closet "ah! This will do," he pulls out a black button up shirt "I'll just leave it open wear a muscle shirt underneath with jeans and a converse," he says happily. He looks at his watch "oh I need to make sure I'm ready it's already 4:15 I should go shower," he says happily as he heads to the bathroom.

When he gets home he heads to the garage to see what was going on with his bike he checks on the motor and it seems to be working alright. He goes under the bike and sees the wires connecting his battery had been cut "great" he sighs thank goodness he had a tool box nearby.

He opens it and grabs some electrical tape he puts the tape in his mouth and grabs the two wires together he grabs a piece of tape and bonds them together. "That should do it for now at least," he gets up from under the bike and turns the key after a few more tries he gets it to start.

"There we go," he turns it off and heads inside to go shower after a few minutes he gets himself dressed and heads outside. He had his hair down wearing a black hat he was wearing a white tee shirt with a black sleeveless vest on top black denim jeans and his biker boots he goes over hopping on and starting his bike. He wanted to get Allen something nice some flowers a gift maybe he didn't even know what he liked he drives into town.

As he looks around at the shops around town he looks and spots a flower shop that catches his attention he stops and gets off. When he opens the door the smell of several dozen or so flowers invaded the air.

"Kanda-san! Welcome you hardly come and visit me anymore," the light skinned girl from behind the counter pouts "anyway can I help you with anything?" she grinned.

"No Road it's alright I think I got it," he patted her on the head and smiled.

She smiles "if you need anything let me know," she goes and attends to the flowers in the back.

As he browses around the store looking at the different flowers he wonders to himself 'well what kind of flowers should I get him?' His eyes spot some white roses fascinated by them he couldn't look away "beautiful..."

"Aren't they" Road said from behind him smiling making him jump a bit "sorry I didn't mean to scare you I couldn't help but notice you staring at them for a long time you know white roses are different from all the other roses? Their scent is the sweetest out of all the other roses and their meaning is pure, innocent, and a blessing."
