Chapter 1: New Beginning/First Encounter

A boy of 15 sat alone near a fountain playing with the water watching his reflection alter as the water rippled. Tears rolled down his cheeks hitting his different colored hand shaking and crying his gray eyes out trying to forget what he saw. Forget what had happened forget ever falling in love. But he can't, he's trying but the one he loves keeps coming back into his mind. It all started 2 weeks ago Allen Walker was just starting his first job since moving to England. It was just right almost perfect and it payed good money. He was working as a librarian's assistance he walked into the building and opened the door.

"Hello? Mr. Komui it's me Allen I'm here" Allen looked around as he sees papers and books scattered everywhere on the floor. "Geesh, what a mess-" he gets interrupted by a crash of books falling.

"Dang it not again!" Allen hears an older males voice.

Out comes a man with glasses from behind the main office door "ah, Allen you're here! Sorry you walked in on a mess, I'm in the middle of reorganizing everything."

"No, its fine" Allen smiled "do you need any help?"

"If you don't mind, but I could really use the help," Komui fixed his glasses.

Allen put his bag down "where do you want me to start?"

"Um, you can go with my sister Lenalee where is she?" looking around "Lenalee where are you??"

A girl with dark green hair pops up from where she was at "here brother", she spots Allen "is that him the new guy??"

Komui nods "Yes, this is Allen Walker, he will be helping you upstairs once you two are done make sure you show him around the town, and don't forget to show him his work schedule!"

"Alright, alright! I got it!" she yelled back.

"Thank you" Allen replied heading upstairs until he was where she had been "Lenalee correct?" he smiled "uh hi, nice to meet you" he extends his hand for a shake.

She smiled and shook his hand "nice to meet you too, sorry about my brother. He's not a bad guy once you get to know him."

"No, it's alright really" he smiled again "let me help you there."

"Oh, thank you" in about a hour they got finished with the upstairs section.

Allen sighed with relief and sat next to Lenalee who was sitting on the floor.

"Oh wow, I would have finished later if you didn't come when you did," she grinned.

Allen laughs "No problem" he got up and then got her up.

"Thanks, now come on let me show you aro-" she was interrupted by someone who had opened the main entrance door.

"A customer?" Allen questioned.

"The Library is supposed to be closed for reorganizing", she leaned over the railing "Oi! Lavi, you're not supposed to be here!" she yelled as Allen leaned over to see who it was.

The redheaded teen looked up and grinned "Ah, come on I'm you're pal!" notices Allen "Whoa, who's the new kid."

"This is Allen, he just moved to England and he starting his first day here," she explained.

"H-Hi...." Allen said shyly.

"Yo! My name is Lavi Bookman, it's nice to meet you!" he smiled.

"I was just about to give Allen a tour around town wanna come?" Lenalee asked her friend.

"Sure!" Lavi grins

"Great, just wait a bit we will be right there," she turns to Allen "come on then" she smiles.

He nods, Allen was a bit shy around new people after discussing his work schedule they went out and met Lavi out in front.

"So, Allen how are you liking it so far?" Lavi asked while looking over to him.

"Well, it's lovely I absolutely love the view of everything it's so beautiful!" he said excitedly.

Lenalee chuckled "That's good!" she smiled as they began walking.

Allen smiled "Yeah" as he bumped into someone

"I'm sorry" he looked up and blushes there he saw a older teen looking down at him, he thought to himself 'my how beautiful....'

"Yu! Hey it's nice seeing you, this is Allen! He's new to town" Lavi grinned.

"H-Hi!" Allen bowed nervously while blushing.

"I'm not real big on introductions beansprout now, I have somewhere to be."

He walks past a faint smile on his face as a teen dashed past them "Yu, wait for me!" he looks back at them.

"Hi Lenalee, Lavi, new kid!"

"Bye Alma..." both Lavi and Lenalee say as they both vanish from sight.

Allen stands up looking back "Who was that?"

"Oh, the teen that was chasing Kanda that's Alma his best friend," Lenalee explained.

"They are like real close have been since they were children," Lavi added.

"Oh...." Allen said almost sad and jealous sounding and he didn't know why.

Lavi grinned "Allen likes Yu!"

Allen blushed "I-I just met him!"

Lenalee giggled "Come on, you two."

Alma caught up to his friend panting as the others headed in a different direction "I-I told you to wait up......"

"Huh? Oh sorry, I didn't hear you....." Kanda had looked like his mind was somewhere else thinking about someone....

Alma looked at his friend, and frowned a bit. He could tell and he didn't like that "a-alright...."
