" Baby?" Her mother creeped in the door. After Fridays events Emma almost never came out of her room.
"What?" She asked with her face buried into her playboy pillow that Mack gave her as a gag gift.
" Well it's Monday and normally school is on Mondays." Her mother said in a sarcastic tone.
Emma looked up wanting to say some words to her mother, but instead she bit her tongue and raised up out of bed. Her mother told her to get dressed not knowing that Emma was going through hell. She didn't even look at her phone she slipped out of bed and hitting the hard wood floor." Ughhh!" she yelled out loud. She looked down at her wrist one of the cuts started to bleed again. She reached for her bed and pushed her self up. She felt like shit not first day shit but " why lord?" shit.
She open her night stand drawer and gripped at bandaid out and put on her slitty bleeding wrist. After she walked over to her mirror that was hanging on her wall. She unsteadily regretted that her hair was a mess with hair sticking out here and there. Her under eyes was dark and she had bags." Damn" she groan out walking out of her room and into the bathroom in the hall way. After finishing her business she made her way back to where she started her bedroom.
She reached into her bag and pulled out the Death Note. She stared down at it, all that happened Friday came running back. All the pain and hate filled her head, she almost got raped her friends got hurt. All because of Christy, how could she do this?
Emma's face became heating mad. She through the book across her room and heard it slam into the wall. She marched over to her closet and slung the door open. Emma grabbed what clothes she could and tossed them on to her bed. She grabbed a blue dress that came a couple inches past her butt with a black jean jacket, with her black boots. She quickly got dressed and walked over to her mirror. She still looked like a zombie but now it was a more of a pissed off, revenge seeking zombie.
She opened up her new make- up that her mother had gotten her last year, but she never had any reason to use it until now of course. She applied her concealer and foundation, and her pinkish, blush. She skimmed over her make up and gripped her mascara she gently went over her eye lashes, added a couple of coats and finished she took a step back and to see her masterpiece. She was pretty proud of it but there was something missing.
" Damn hair." she said taking a brush through it trying to get it looking like hair and not a rats nest.

After what felt like forever she put her curling iron down and looked into the mirror. Her hair was in tight curls that fell off her shoulders. She was pretty happy with what she accomplished in an hour in a half." Hey mom!" Emma yelled down her stairs, wanting her mother to see how she looked. Emma walked into the living room which was empty. She walked through the hall and arrived in the dinning room which was also empty.
" Mamma." Emma called out but no one answered. She slowly walked into the kitchen where on the table was a note. She walked over to it, and read.
" Hey honey I'm off to work early, didn't want to bother you. See you later."
Emma sat the paper down and disappointedly walked back into her room and say at the edge of her bed. She looked into her mirror and wondered why she even did this?
" What good will it do to look good?" she asked her self. A million things started to through her head she didn't know what she was going or what her plan was.
She got in her knees and began to pray.
" Lord I don't know what to do." She paused and looked down at her wrist. " Give me a sign Lord please, Tell me I have the right to seek for revenge."
Emma stopped and got up, she knew it wasn't going to do any good, nothing could help her now.
"Fucccckk." Emma slip on one of the many things that was in her floor she landed on her butt, her head hit her bed.
Emma shook her head cursing under her breath. She rises up rubbing her injured booty.
" What the?" She cut herself off when she saw what she slipped over. In the floor flipped to the middle if the book was the Death Note.
She got up and walked over to the Notebook, she bent over, picked in up, and held it in her hands.
She looked up at her ceiling. " Is this your sign?" she looked back down at the notebook.
Emma has thought about this for awhile now but there more like fanatics. She didn't even know if it worked, but it was worth the try.
She put the book in her bag and walked out of her room making her way down stairs and out the door.•••••••••
"Hey." Mack said trying not to make eye contact with her.
Emma sat down beside her." hey." she almost whisper. " How's everything?"
" I'm afraid,Emma." she confessed gripping Emma's up arm.
" I know I am too." Emma said back, with tears building in her eyes. She takes a deep breath and pauses.
" I need to tell you something." Emma began to tell her everything from the first day of school to last Friday. After Emma finished she stopped and looked into Mack's eyes trying to read her.
" So your saying you have a magical note book that kills people?"
"Yeah" Emma said tucking her hair behind her ear.
Mack started busting out laughing slapping her hand against her leg.
" I can't breath." She said in between laughs
" I'm not playing, Mack!" Emma yelled getting pissed that her friend didn't believe. She reached for her bag and gripped the book.
" Look for your self." She handed it to Mack. Mack looked down at the book in her hand and looked back up to her friend.
"Turn the page."
Mack done as she was told and flipped to the first page. Emma watched Mack's eyes read every word on the page. After minutes of silence between them, Mack finally looked back up from the book and up at her friend.
" What is this thing?" She asked looking from Emma and back to the book.
" Its what I'm going to use to get revenge."
"Emma, you don't honestly believe this thing works, do you?" She leaned in and asked in a horsed voice.
" What other choice do I have?"
Emma took the book back from Mack and placed it back into her bag.
" Ok what if it works?"
" Then I killed someone." She replied shrugging her shoulders.
" That makes you a murder." Mack's eyes widened.
" Please don't urge with me about this they hurt us, Mack they get what they deserve and they deserve to die." Emma was getting more upset she didn't want to fight with her best friend.
" Your right." Mack relied
" What?" Emma was surprised that she agreed with her.
" We try it out to see if it works and only on the people who hurt us, deal?"
Emma hugged Mack " agreed!" she released Mack from her death grip. " Should we tell the others?"
" No this stays between us." Mack answered standing up to get off the bus.
