Phil's day had gone well and that was already a shocker because, if Phil had learnt anything in the last three years of his live, it was that his day never went completely well and that he didn't deserve good days at all. It was a curse which he believe would never fade.

Maybe, for a change, he was feeling lucky.

It was now seven in the evening and after a long painful day, they were finally leaving to go back to Wokingham. They'd had an outdoors special class with a guide, that explained the history of the place and the changes that England's terrain had been through. Phil swears he tried not to block out what the guide was explaining but it was truly a challenge to keep concentrated. It was even harder than in school and that's saying a lot. However, from what he'd seen, nobody had been really interested.

Their teacher let them rest for a few minutes after packing everything up and now they were, again, entering the hell-sent bus and Phil wasn't ready. He was far from ready, he felt like he'd throw up from the motion sickness that hadn't even started yet.

He took out his phone, waiting for his turn to go in, and tried to decide on what to listen. That's when he passed his Panic! At The Disco playlist and smiled, glancing at Dan, who was standing quietly in a corner. He'd been chatting with Chris but, like before, Chris would be sitting with PJ and they'd already gone in the bus.

Phil, hesitantly, walked towards him and caught the brown-haired boy's attention, who simply raised an eyebrow, frowning.

'What?' Dan snapped and Phil flinched before seeing how Dan's eyes softened with regret for having sounded unintentionally rude.

'Uhm, I'm sorry.' Phil blurted out, stepping back. 'I was just deciding on what to listen and then I passed through my Panic! At The Disco playlist and thought of you- in a normal way, not in a creepy way - and decided on saying hi.'

Dan snorted. 'Oh, was that it?' he grinned, amused.

'Y-yeah.' Phil shifted his weight from one leg to another. 'Sorry for bothering you about it, you're just the only person I've ever met that actually knows who they are.'

'You're not bothering me at all.' Dan patted his shoulder. 'Though, right now, I'm actually going to listen to Muse.'

'...You like Muse?' Phil asked a bit shocked and Dan turned around, stopping in his tracks.

'Yeah, you know them?' Dan asked just as stunned.

'Yes, they're like my favourite band ever!' Phil answered excitedly and Dan looked like he was gonna pass out from astonishment.
