*June*

"June, June! Wake up!" My aunt was yelling at me when I finally woke up. She told me I was having one of those dreams again. More like nightmares.

-Flashback-
When I was ten, I was given the news that my parents had died in a car accident.

My aunt and uncle both became my legal guardians. My uncle had decided it was best to move and rid of the bad memories.

We moved in a little town called Shaggy Pines. It has a little over 1,000 people and beautiful vintage houses hand crafted over 200 years ago. Yes I did my research. It's surrounded by trees that are taller then anything I've ever see before.

My uncle bought Thirty acres of tree covered land and one of the many vintage houses that came with it. He bought a lot of land because my aunt loves to garden. Also, for me because I love the nature. The way the trees move with every push the wind gives it. I think it's  fascinating.

We finished putting everything in place and it looked amazing. Everything looked unique, from the shimmering hard wood floors covered in radiant throw rugs to the beautiful lace curtains fog like mist to the floor to ceiling windows.

I went to the room I chose, closed my eyes, and only seconds later to be sound asleep.

When I opened My eyes I found my self in knee-length water.
The slightest movement created ripples which glimmered in the sunlight.

I looked around for any land but found nothing. So I did the only thing possible; moved forward.

After a couple of minutes, I heard my name being called when I approached a car just barely above the water but enough to see the two windows.
I heard my name being called again when I realized someone was in there. Again they yelled my name then two hands formed into fist started banging on the window. I, too, found myself banging on the window but it wouldn't budge.
The banging lasted for a couple of minutes before it completely came to a stop. The car turned over while I was still banging on the window (which still wouldn't budge) and fell on top of me and pushed me deeper into the water.

(Before I got to the car the water had gotten to deep for me to walk in so I had to swim.)

I started sinking with the car on top of me. I tried to swim away but the water had me submerged.
Slowly and painfully the car crushed  me with its weight.

During my submersion, although unconscious, I was some how alert and aware of my senses. I felt every drop of air slip away from my being. For what felt hours of misery, only a few seconds had passed. I heard a whisper.

A very soft and still voice saying, "Junebug...Junebug" ever so softly... "I will not ever lean you nor forsake you; for I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper and not harm you. I love you always and forever more." And just like tag to woke up with jolt.

*Present*
I woke up to my aunt stroking my raven black hair and whispering calming words into my ears.

I mimicked my aunt and wrapped my arms around her -just as she did to me-enjoying her lavender scent that filled my nostrils.

She told me I was having that dream again for the billionth time. I'm 18 and I still have that unexplainable dream.

It was already 5:50 which was around the time I woke up so I went to go take a nice relaxing shower knowing I can't go back to sleep even if I tried.

I wore gray skinny jeans with a black shirt that said selfie. I put on my worn out biker jacket and topped it of with black combat boots. I let my hair fall down my back in long beach-y waves then went to the garage to get my car.
