*June*

After school I went to the gym to relieve stress.

I wore a blue sports bra with purple Nike shorts, a black hoodie to hide my face, and black vans that hugged my feet.

I put hand wraps around my hands then got in my fighting stance. Feet apart, Fists blocking my face, then started throwing punches at the punching bag.

Jab, Cross, Hook, Uppercut.
Jab, Cross, Hook, Uppercut.
I continued this motion until I felt my knuckles bleed.
I started taking my wraps off when I felt Someone put there hand on my shoulder.

Out of instinct, I immediately stuck my elbow In whoever's stomach and they fell to the ground with a hard thud. I heard a grunt right after that. Wait that can't be? Is it...

"Phantom?"I asked. I remember that grunt from anywhere.

"Ugh. Gosh why did you have to hit that hard?" He grunted out. I covered my worried expression with a blank face.

"Why are you here? Wait... No! How do you even know I'm here?" The question coming out frustrated.

"Kimberly and I come here All the time." He said looking at me straight in the eye. I broke out laughing so hard my stomach started to hurt.

"Your kidding!" I managed to say after my laughter died down. "She probably comes here to flirt with other guys behind your back." I said after another fit of laughter.

"No, she comes here to see me fight." he said in denial.

"Then why are you in here. This is a private room. Go fight someone and stop bothering me." I said getting frustrated.
Before I could walk out the door, he blocked it with his body.

"I came here to challenge you to a fight. I'm the best kick boxer in this gym and I want to see if you could beat me. If I beat you, you let us push you around the rest of the year and if you win-" "If I win you leave me alone and stop your crap. Deal." I said cutting him of then holding my hand out so he can shake it. He shook it and said deal.
"When's the fight then?" I asked him.

I can't wait to beat him. He will lose. I've been fighting for four years. I've mastered lots of techniques and how to knock someone out with just one punch. He looks like an amateur.

"The fight is tonight at 8pm." He said.
"Fine, I'll be there."I agreed.
I walked out of the room and so did he.

"I won't go easy on you so don't expect it just because your a girl. Did you know, You remind me of someone who use to go to this gym.

It turns out it was a girl; she was undefeated. She got stabbed two years ago and never came back. Her boxing name was Shadow." He hissed.

"I'm not ganna go easy on you either." I said right back to him then walked out of the gym a little tense.

I thought people forget who she was or who I was is more like it. Well, I'm going to give them a welcome back with a punch.

{7:30. 20 minutes before the game.}

I got to the gym 20 minutes early so I can practice some more moves.

I haven't fought in 2 years, so I'm definitely going to be rusty.

Two years ago I was undefeated kick-boxer named Shadow. I wore a black hoodie covering my face all the time and made sure to hide my hair.

I won every match and got tons of money for it. It was dangerous to fight with other people at this gym because most are from gangs and are incredibly dangerous, but I could care less. Pshh! I didn't care at all. I stopped fighting two years ago after I got stabbed at my last match of the day. He was a gang leader and was pissed That he got beat by a girl. Most people are. I stopped fighting but I didn't stop training.
