"Hey son, I got you something very special for your birthday." My dad says with a big smile on his face.
"What is it?" I say bouncing up and down in our large living room.
"Are you sure he's ready?" I hear my mom ask my dad, looking very nervous at the thought.
"Yes, he already knows most of what's inside anyway of the way he grew up anyways," my dad says, overruling my moms opinion.
"Can I have that present now dad, pleaseee?" I plea because he's been talking about how good this present is going to be for my 10th birthday for the past week.
"Here you go, Spike, Happy Birthday!" my dad says with almost as much excitement as I am feeling right now, "It's a journal of my first time when I spawned and my experiences, and very soon you're going to be on your own too.
"Okay, thanks dad," I try not to say with too much disappointment because I thought it would be something non-educational at least.
But I mean I guess he did try and think it through, so I give him a big hug, with my mom squished in the middle.
I head up to my room, to maybe see if this isn't that bad of a journal and try to let my mind take the point of view of my fathers.
Day 1~
I land in a world with a thud under me, and feeling grass under the comfort of the grey sneakers that I was wearing.
"Where am I?" I wondered to myself, not sure of who I was, beside the fact I didn't know where I was, where I came from, my mission, anything. The questions seemed to keep going until I finally stopped my confused head from spinning around in circles.
I raised my head to look at the blue sky and increasing clouds. There was a square in the sky that seemed to be glowing.
"Sun"
The word instantly popped into my head. Maybe I did remember some things after all.
Right above my head I also saw 5 letters floating above me, as a helpful indicator as to who I was.
"Steve"
So that was my name. I assumed I didn't have a last name, because wherever I was, it didn't seem like there was other people around.
I analyzed the surroundings around me. There was some grass plains that went into a patch of sand, then a large body of water that I couldn't see the end to.
There was also a bunch of trees around me, with a few animals grazing on the plentiful plains.
Whatever I was supposed to do, I had to figure out soon, because the sun was already halfway into the sky.
I finally decided that I would look for other people soon, but set up a camp here and gather supplies until I was well supplied.
I tried to think about what would be most useful in a camp, but I couldn't remember if I had ever set up a camp before this.
"Well these trees seem important, so I might grab those because I don't want to stay outside all night." I said to myself even no one was around to hear.
I went over to one of the trees, and started punching the bottom log of the tree. I took only a couple of seconds, and I had the log in my hand. I did this with the rest of the tree until I had 4 pieces of wood in my hands.
