1. Carnival and Josh Devine!

*5 months before*

Autumns POV.

"Wake up!" she whispered in her cute little voice. I rolled over to see her and noticed she had a milk moustache from her breakfast cereal.

"Okay I will just have a shower and then I'll meet you downstairs so think of some ideas for what to do today. There is a carnival on at Derby so we could go there and go toy shopping!" I smiled to her as she got up and sprinted downstairs.

Her name was Imogen and she was 5 years old in 3 days. She had beautiful dirty blonde hair that I was very jealous of and gorgeous brown eyes that you could stare into all day long.

She was about 3 ft but was very mature and intelligent. Every day she would practice her ballet since I persuaded mum to let her go to lessons. She is very graceful and dances amazingly without stiffness. In her lessons she had met lots of friends and some of them went to her school and they all admired her beauty and talent. We were going out today with her best friend named Clare. Since mum was out on a business trip to America and wouldn't return until next week she left me and Meg to take care of her.

I got up and walked into my little baby blue en-suite and locked the door. I quickly stripped down and hoped in the shower letting the water wake me up so I was no longer tired. I washed my hair in record time as I flicked the button and grabbed my favourite towel. It was fluffy and white and very very warm. I dried myself of and wrapped the towel around my hair as I slipped on my matching pants and bra. Unlocking the door, I strolled into my walk in closet and tried to decide on an outfit.

After a while of debating I decide on a nice light blue bikini to go under my blue and white striped shorts and a white cropped shirt that had geek printed on the front. I jumped down the stairs and saw Imogen talking to Meg.

"How old are you going to be then?" asked Meg in her usual happy tone. Imogen looked at her hands.

"5!" She grinned holding up 6 fingers. Aww, she is so cute!

"Have you thought about what you would like to do?" I quizzed her walking in and lifting her up on my lap.

"YES!" She squealed excitedly.

"What are we doing then?" I asked her looking at her and Meg.

"Well, first we go and ask if Clare bear wants to come and then we go to the carnival for 2 hours. After that we can go to nandos and then to the shopping centre and at 6 we can go to the beach and stay at the fancy hotel!" she said, getting up to show me her plan of what we will do with pictures.

"Perfect!" Meggie said and walked up to me.

"I have an idea for her birthday I think she will love!" she whispered with glee.

"Yay!" I whispered back with that smile still plastered on my face.

"Come on, lets get our shoes and socks on and get ready to leave," I said to them and grabbed Imogens little hand as we walked towards the front door. I grabbed her jacket of the peg and bent over to give it to her.

"Let me go and get my bag while you put your cardigan on and I will be right back," I smiled and skipped up the stairs to my room. Picking up my phone, keys, purse and some sweets in my bag I grabbed my black beanie and a little leather jacket I stepped into her room and grabbed some of her comfortable, white ankle socks. I do not own a car yet so I will walk. Now to find some shoes that aren't too fancy or have heels. I spotted some denim high tops at the back of my wardrobe and picked up some little vans for Imogen. She was wearing a peach coloured shirt with dungarees and a weaved hat with a pink ribbon on it that joined with a pretty bow. A perfect outfit for a day like this!
