3. Was I really that bad?

Autumns POV

They all looked like goldfish and I let out a slight chuckle. I turned around to see if thats what they were looking at but nothing was there. They were staring at me. Was I really that bad? Why did I have to sing?

"I never knew you could sing!" Liam exclaimed.

"Thats 'cause I can't," I snapped and stormed out. The tears were begining to fall and I couldn't run out, not this time. I need to face the facts. More memories came back and so did the flashbacks.

I was swinging by the fence on my swing when daddy walked up to me,

"Darling, I need to tell you something," he said and dragged me over to were the barbeque had been. It had left a mark on the floor that looked like a smiley face that made a grin appear on my face but this soon faltered when I saw the concerned look on my dads face.

"Whats wrong daddy?" The five year old me asked.

"Because of my new job we have to move to England," he frowned and a smile grew again upon my face.

"What about your friends?" he asked, baffled.

"I can always get new ones!" I smiled and he picked me up and spun me around.

"You are the best daughter ever!" he laughed and put me down.

"We need to pack, we're leaving tomorrow," he signalled for me to go upstairs. I rushed upstairs and he followed me taking steps at a time. We got upstairs and he told me to go and grab my shoes while he got two large suitcases for me to put my stuff in.

"Now get your skirts and shorts," he said and I saluted before rushing over to my draws. We carried on like this for the next hour until I had packed all my belongings other than my furniture. I only left out some clothes to wear tomorrow.

I would be wearing ugg boots, grey sweatpants and a blue t-shirt that said 'Keep calm and eat cake' that my mums personal stylist saw at matalan and bought for me. I layed them out on my little pink sofa and settled down to get to sleep. I was wearing leggins with a purple hoodie so i didn't need to change. I fell into a deep dreamless sleep.

* T H E N E X T D A Y *

I was sitting on the plane, staring out of the window. As the plane came into land I became more and more worried. What if no-one liked me? That would be terrible.

When we entered the airport me parents were greeted with a hug by an unfamiliar young lady with a boy that looked my age who I guessed was her son.

"Hello, you must be Autumn!" she smiled and gave me a hug.

"Thats me!" I joked and we chatted for a while before we left in a taxi.

When we got to our house I discovered that the people we had met were our neighbours. Because it was a school day my new best friend from Britain and favourite neighbour ever got to have half the day of to show me around the small village in Wolverhampton that I could now call home. We joked and messed around for most of the time and by ten am we had decided to stop at the park outside the school. Jo told me to look for a boy with brown, short hair because he was his second best friend. I was first.

When I saw him, I noticed another girl looking over at him occasionally and laughing with her friends. They would be such a cute couple! We went home to get some money for school lunch and I needed to put the school uniform on. It was blue with the logo on the left-hand side, near the collar. It was very comfortable and Jo had told me that its made from the fluffy clouds in the sky but I said that was a load of rubbish.
