Chapter 1 RTX

I woke up a few hours early so I could get ready for RTX. I ran into the bathroom with my essentials in hand. I plugged my curling iron in and took out all my makeup. I pulled out my hairbrush and placed it on the sink as well. I took out my clothes and placed them on the toilet seat.

I put on a black crop top with a cute flannel with the sleeves rolled up. Then slipped on my high waisted jean shorts. I curled the ends of my hair. I did all my makeup then exited the bathroom feeling like a owned the place.

Caleb can you wake jake and Malory up please were gonna be late. I called out to him.

Sure. He said in a raspy voice.

Today was day 1 of RTX with my YouTube group called "the xtra ordinary"

Get your asses up were gonna be late! I heard Caleb yell at jake and mal.

This is an important day for Alyssa now come on! He finished.

He was right this was the day I get to see James again it's been a year and a half since I left and I couldn't have been more happy when he said he would be at RTX. My phone buzzed and I instantly knew who it was.

James <3: hey i can't wait to see you! what room is your panel in? Also where's your booth?

Lyss (me): I can't wait to see you as well! My panel is in room 12 and my booth should be like 4 down from yours

James <3: ugh please come early I need to see you!

Lyss (me): I'm trying my friends won't hurry their asses up

I put my phone in my pocket and looked up to see Caleb jake and mal were ready to go.

Ok hurry lets go! I said running to the elevators.

Stop pressing the buttons so much your going to break them. Jake said grabbing my arm and gently placing it by my side.

I'm sorry it's just I'm really excited.

No really, I couldn't tell. Caleb said sarcastly.

Shut up Caleb! I said laughing.

We arrived at the convention center and I just couldn't hold back. I started to pick up speed Causing the others to go a little bit faster too.

I finally came upon a swarm of people with "the creatures" t-shirts on.

We're here. I Said.

Then it happened I saw my love
The one
My person
My perfect fit
My everything

JAMES!! I screamed causing attention to us.

He turned around and his face lit up. I dropped my purse and ran at him. We met and I instantly jumped into his arms kissing him while doing so. After our long kiss I pulled back and burying my head In between his neck and shoulder. I heard the crowd of people say "awww" and when I looked back I saw many cameras and  eyes planted on us. 

I love you so much. I said squeezing him tighter.

I missed you so much Lyssa. He said squeezing me tighter.

I was now in tears of joy and I couldn't unlatch myself from him.

Can I tell you something James? I asked as we were about two inches apart.

I never stopped loving you for one second while I was gone.

I immediately released my arms and cupped his face then kissed him again.

I got down and finally released him.
Standing by his side.

James' p.o.v

I was happy again. She was finally here. Her hair went from a light brown to a dark red, kinda like a maroon. Most of it was flipped to one side of her head and the ends were curled. She was just as beautiful as I remember.  Her skin was softer and more tan than before. The fans were clueless they had no idea who she was.

Hey lyss wanna go out tonight? I whispered to her so the fans wouldn't hear.

I would love too. She said.

Do you think the fans know what's going on between us? She asked.

Well after our little moment we had I'm not sure, Just tell them we've been best friends since college and haven't seen each other in years.  I said.

Alright. She said.

Hey I have to go to my booth and then my panel, your coming to my panel right?

Yeah but I don't want you to go. I pouted.

Your going be fine. She said hitting my arm.

I'm see you later ya moron. I said laughing and giving her a tiny hug. It's so great to have her back. I thought to myself.
