Chap. 6 Cleansing

     After we bandaged my wounds, he cleaned up the tile for me because he felt bad for what I had just witnessed. Max closed the door behind him and sat next to me on my bed while taking in shaky breathes. "I don't know what Keith was doing with Cara up there, I can't promise that it was something good. I don't know though. But I can promise you this, I don't want to hurt you. But I have to if you disobey, Keith is my boss so if he sees you misbehave. I have to act accordingly." I loosen my muscles a little and clear my throat. "So? Will you just obey our rules so you can get out of here sooner?" I nod my head to answer him so he will leave me alone, in which he doesn't. Max grabs my good hand and pulls my butt off the bed squeezing his torso against mine, otherwise known as a hug. "Okay we'll get off now." I snap, making him let go smoothing down his t-shirt and nodding. "So.. Uhm. I'll leave no-"

"Stay. I don't want to be alone..." I say timidly looking up at him.
"Are you sure you want me to stay?" Max asks.

I nod and motion him to come sit back down on the bed. This time I pull my legs under the covers and sit facing the TV. "Can we watch a good movie this time? My pick?" I ask.

"Sure why not, what would you like?"
"Do you have Perks of being a wallflower? It's my favorite!"
"We sure do sweetie!" He exclaims as he searches through his digital library and puts the movie on.
"Thank you... Uhm can you hold me? Just for a little, until I stop shaking."
"Sure Hun, I'd love to. I'm sorry you had to hear that I really am!"
"I know don't worry, it wasn't your fault.... Kinda." He groans and watches the movie.

My eyes slowly open and blink as they adjust to the lighting. I rub the sleep from the cracks and turn over to see max, I scream "What the heck!? You were just suppose to watch a movie with me not sleep with me!" I back up off the bed and stand looking at him. A grin grows on his face while he giggles, clearing his eyes of sleep. He stares at my body with this longing look so I look down. Somehow I got dressed in those skimpy silk lingerie he has stocked for me. "How did I get these on?" I ask.

"I put them on because you feel asleep and you said you were uncomfortable. So I put those on for you, which by the way I didn't buy. Keith bought that stuff for you, I just picked out the shoes, shirts, crew necks and shorts." Max replies.

"Woah. Woah. Wait, you dressed me? You stripped me down naked and dressed me?" He nods "How do I not know you fondled me!?" I accuse him.

"Trust me, it took some serious strength not to embrace your beautiful body. But I have not 'fondled' you Melanie." He says almost licking his lips, but quickly reaching over to me and grabs me by the ass, pulling me on the bed. He flips on top of me tickling my sides making me giggle and fight for my freedom. "Sto- st- stop! Oh my gosh I'm gonn- gonna pee!!!" I laugh hysterically struggling to get my words out.

He suddenly stops just looking down at me, right in my eyes. "You truly are beautiful Melanie." He says slowly before leaning down to kiss me. Crashing his lips onto mine, but I don't jump or fight it. I kiss him back. It felt right, it didn't feel like he kidnapped me. Max felt like a guy who genuinely cared about me but was in a sticky position.

This moment lasted only briefly before he pulled back, looking back down at me sweetly. This time his thumb lightly brushing my bottom lip, "I shouldn't kiss you like this or else I'll loose control." He smirks as he gets up from sitting on me. "Are you hungry? Cuz I am!" he answers his own question, "Let's go get something to eat, should we go out to eat or make breakfast?"

"Isn't going out in public a stupid thing to do with a missing girl? Won't you get caught?" I question, then think to myself what the hell am I saying cuz then that's gonna make it easier to get out of here. My train of thought was interrupted by Max's words, "I don't know if I told you this but no one is looking for you except your mothers, they didn't get the police involved."
