As an ear piercing whistle goes off all of the girls set down their bats, and gulp down some water. "Finally it's the last two days of practice!" I cheered to my friend Cara.
"I know! But I think I will miss the team." Cara frowned.
"Well we have worked hard and deserve this break."
"That's true... Well see ya tomorrow sucker!" Cara calls out by the nickname they gave eachother.
"Bye!" I grab my bag and walk out of the dugout. My house is two blocks away from the school. The street is rather quiet when I walk home from practice, and lately there's been this van going by. I hear the putting of a motor behind me, with a small surprise I thought nothing of it.
