Even though the sun was up it was still a chilly morning near Yōsen High. Students gathered near or inside the fence entrance. A few students chatted away with their friends or to teachers who were arriving.

"This place... is huge..." Squeaked a tiny voice. A girl of sixteen gets closer and closer to the iron gates. Her deep emerald eyes scanned the chatting student body on the other side of the fence. Clara Inari gulped heavily as she held back some of her blond hair that decides to block her vision. Clara groaned as she realized her hair wasn't going to corporate so she quickly ties it in a messy ponytail. While Clara passed the gates to the school grounds her nerves started to get the better of her. The blonde started to walk a little awkwardly, like her legs were jelly.

"Coming to a new school is scary... I don't know any one here..." Clara whimpered to herself as she felt her eyes stinging slightly from unshed tears. "No! I will not cry!" The blonde made a fist bump as she spoke to herself like a crazy person. "As soon as I join the volleyball team, I will make friends easily."

Clara said with determination in her voice causing some students to turn their attention towards her, a few students started to point and giggle at her. Clara gasped, she directed her eyes to the ground as she continued to walk deeper onto school property.

As she walked, Clara noticed some of the schoolgirls were chitchatting and giggling excitedly as they stared off towards what looked like a bench, sitting area that lay under some trees. Clara's curiosity got the better of her as she looked around them and saw several boys sitting on a bench. Clara felt her cheeks growing warm; she noticed every single one of the guys were good-looking and rather tall for being in high school. Clara noticed one of the guys had his own dark hair covering half of his face. As Clara walked past she could faintly make out a small beauty mark under his right eye.

"He sure is pretty for a boy..." Clara mumbled to herself as she looked straight ahead once more. As teenage girl got closer to the buildings main entrance, she halted in mid-step when she suddenly heard a low rumble in her stomach. Clara blushed heavily has she put a hand to her stomach.

"Ahhh I am hungry... I was so nervous about school I didn't eat breakfast..." Than her frown turned into a bright smile as she went into her bag and took out a little clear bag that was sealed with a cute little ribbon. The contents of the small bag were a few cookies. "Good thing I brought my home made 'super-duper-lucky-chocolate-chip cookies'!"

Clara giggled as she untied the little bag. As she ate her stomach finally began to settle. A groan of satisfaction escaped her lips as Clara felt her nerves become more relaxed than when she first arrived. Just as the blonde teen was about to take another scrumptious cookie, a rather large hand appeared out of nowhere to snatch up the last remaining cookies from the bag. Clara gasped out as she watched her poor little cookie heading straight towards a giant, wide mouth. It seemed her world went into slow motion as Clara imagined her little cookie screaming out for her to save it but soon the cookie fell into the dark abyss, never to be seen again. Clara felt the sting of tears forming at the corner of her eyes. In a fit of rage Clara stood up yelling.

"Hey! What's the big idea, huh?!" Clara pursed her lips into a pout as she glared at the man, not caring in the least that he was well over six feet tall or it just didn't register how freakishly tall the guy was. Either way, Clara didn't care that he looked down at her with sparkly eyes as she continued her rant. "That was my 'super-duper-lucky-chocolate-chip cookie! That was supposed to get me through..."

"...More..." A bored child like voice sprung from his lips as he continued to stare down at Clara.

The small word snapped Clara out of her rage rant, she stared up at the man, and her face contorted into confusion as she finally saw the sparkles in his unusual violet eyes. Clara's mouth hung open. "Huuhhh?"
