Best awoke to the call of a rooster. Every morning at 5:30am that rooster called as loud as it could.
As best rose up from her cosy position, she walked out side and made her way to her tree.
Best had grown to love that tree. It was the perfect place to sit. It was surrounded by lush green grass and shaded her from the sun and rain.
As she stood under the tree eating away, she remembered the odd strand of grass from the day before. Thinking nothing of it, she went back to her regular routine.
It wasn't until around midday that Bessy noticed there was something different today. Bessy was never an energetic cow. She had always been the lazy kind. But for some reason she had the sudden craving to go and do something spontaneous.
Bessy was really confused but decided to fulfil her urge and look for something exciting. She dicided that a walk was adventurous enough.
The Pickett farm was isolated, distanced from anywhere else. They owned so much land that it stretched as far as the eye could see. Because of this Bessy didn't have to worry about straying into another family's paddock.
She had been walking for about ten minutes when Bessy realised yet another mysterious situation.
But this was different. This was like no other thing she had ever seen.
How did this happen? Why did this happen? Bessy didn't know.
