Bessy saw a bolt of lightning and heard a crack of thunder. the storm was getting closer and closer.
Just as another bolt of lightning struck, Jenny came running into the paddock.
"Here bessy, come quick." she called out. bessy got up and moved her way towards Jenny. They soon made their way back to the stable and Jenny set bessy back in her pen.

About an hour into the storm, bessy's stomach started to churn. she first though it was because she was hungry but she then realised that she only ate 20 minutes ago. Maybe i just had some bad hay.

It was hours before the storm came to an end. It was hours before you could see the sun.
