At the beginning

the rescue (part 1)

raph was resting and the others brothers were in the lounge room planning a rescue for lex. raph walked out to all his brothers, when they saw him all the talking stopped and they all just stared at each other. master splinter walked out of his room and then over to raph, splinter softly rubbed raph's head, "hey are you feeling", splinter asked raph.

 "I've better, my ribs still hurt", raph winched in pain and rubbed his bruised and swollen check. 

"so we gonna get lex back and take down kari and that other chick that is well over-dew for a smack-down", raph said as he cracked his knuckles.

"um yes we are gonna go and get lex back, but..." leo trilled off, unsure if he should finish what he was saying.

"what", raph tilted his head and narrowed his eyes, "well, you are not was well as you could be you said it yourself, so we agreed that we would save lex and you would stay here and rest", leo stepped back and waited for raph's response. 

"for real, your, your BENCHING ME, for real, no WAY, I'M COMING WITH YOU, no way in shell am I staying here", raph blurted out. because raph was getting irritated he was breathing hard and that made his ribs hurt. he clutched his sides in pain, he kicked himself for showing the others that he was in pain. master splinter gently placed a hand on raph's shell, "it is mine responsibility to keep you safe and well, you need to heal so until then you are grounded". 

raph looked up at master splinter, ready to argue but the look in master splinters eyes made raph keep his mouth shout. master splinter turned and walked into his room and closed the door with out another word. 

"raph you heal up and we will back with lex before you know it", mikey said with a big smile plastered on his freckled covered face. see mikey smile made raph smile, donnie and mikey helped raph over to the couch. 

"ok see ya later, get better fast so you can come with we next time", leo called back to raph as he and the other brothers climbed into the shellraiser. 

with that they were gone...

"alright everyone, get ready, full stealth mode, k guys, we go on my mark, ready", leo prepared his team. "it feels weird not having raph here", mikey said with worry treating to take his voice. 

"it'll be ok we just need to be quiet and fast, lets go", leo said reassuring mikey. the 3 brothers made their way to the roof of the shredders lair but when they reached the roof there was someone was waiting for them.
