Chapter~6

~Tina's POV~

As the dismissal bell rang, I felt satisfied with my first day of senior year. I really don't want high school to be over already, so I'm going to make this year the best one yet.

Zeke waited for me at the door as I collected my things. I'm happy that I have all my classes with one of my friends.

We walked together and met up with Tammy and Jimmy Jr. outside the school. "Do you guys wanna wait for Gene and Darryl? We can all go back to my restaurant and meet up with Louise."

"Sure" Zeke chimed in "I'm always up for your dad's burgers."

Tammy shrugged and Jimmy Jr. looked at each other and shrugged. "Sounds good." said Tammy.

We waited around for a few minutes until Gene and Darryl met up with us. "Hey guys" Gene called out as they approached our group. "Is everyone coming to the restaurant?" He asked me.

"That's the plan." I said with a nod.

"Cool," Darryl chimed in "Let's get goin."

And with that, the six of us started our walk back to my house.

~Louise's POV~

The bus ride home with Logan was pretty similar to the one this morning. We just made stupid jokes and looked at memes. Except this time, we sat quite close to one another. He had his big strong arm around me for almost the whole ride. I know I may act like some independent, soul-eating, she-beast most of the time. But honestly? I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the feeling of his arm wrapped around my little body.

When we were about five minutes away from my house I got a text from Tina saying everyone was coming to the restaurant and if I wanted to invite Andy and Olly. I started typing my response.

Sure, I'll text Andy in a minute- can I invite Logan Bush to? You remember him right? He's the douche that stole my hat a few years back? I went to some weird rebirthing ceremony with him? Well he's the only other kid on my bus and we're actually friends now.

She texted back a minute later.

Uhh sure

I gave Logan all the details, and he was down. I also told him that maybe we should not be as uh.. close in the restaurant as we are right now. Due to the fact that neither of us really understand whats happening, I don't think my friends or family will either. He totally agreed.

~Linda's POV~

"Hey Bob? Start grillin ten burgas, Tina just called and said the kids are some typa little party I guess." I yelled through the window to my hubby Bobby.

I'm glad that business is really boomin and the kids are popular enough that we can do stuff like this.

"Okay Lyn." He called back out to me.

I looked out the window waiting. It was 3:12, Louise's fancy new school bus is scheduled to drop her off at 3:15. All of a sudden all my big high school babies started coming down the street, followed by Andy, Olly, and Louise's school bus.

I love entertaining all these kids, my door is always open.
