Twilight - Edward's Point of View

Chapter 1 - First Sight - Final Edited..

I Own nothing this is simply my version of Stephenie Meyer's; International Bestseller Twilight from Edward's Point of View. I hope you like it!   This is the first story I wrote.. Please comment, vote and tell me what you think =S

Chapter One:

First Sight Here we are in Olympic Peninsula of northwest Washington State, in a small town name Forks. We have been here for two years. One of the reasons this town was chosing was because it was under a near constant cover of clouds and rain. It wasn't that big of a population; only hitting the 3 thousand mark. It also had a good hunting range.

That's what Emmett and I were doing tonight before we got home; I caught the tail end of Alice's vision. Bascially from the end of it, there's a new girl coming to town after christmas; don't know why Alice is so excited about.

We got into the house and Alice was bouncing up and down in her seat with excitment, Emmett asked "What did we miss?" Alice then started telling us her vision. "So Police Cheif Swan's daughter is coming to town sometime soon. She's going to be starting the school... She's so cute, and we're going to be great friends; because she and Edward fall in love!! " I sat there with my jaw on the floor; I couldn't even think of everything to say.. My whole family just sat looking at me with smiles (expect Rose, she looked like she wanted to kill me!) on there faces as if to say we told you; you would fall in love someday.. I couldn't believe it, no way, no how, not going to happen. There wasn't a chance in hell that I was going to fall in love with the new girl, a mere human, I just don't do that kind of thing!

How could anyone fall in love with a monster, a souless killer of a monster! Granted we don't kill humans but it's not to say I havn't done it before. I went to my room to think, I needed to get away from everyone's thoughts. Emmett doing his "I told you so" song in his head, Alice singing "I'm so happy" and Jasper thinking about how the hell he was going to handle a human around the house! This is mental I can't fall in love with a human, it would be to weird and so wrong. Alice must have seen it wrong. There wasn't a hope in hell that I fall in love with anyone, espeically not a human!

A month later.... Tommorrow Cheif Swan's daughter is finally arriving in town; everyone in school has been talking about it non stop since the news got about. A couple of the fellas in my science class are betting who she's going to go out with first; Mike Newton thinking since he's the jock of the school that she will take a shine to him and he'll ask her out. Why the hell can't he see that Jessica is nuts about him!! Everyone is talking about her non - stop and even my family hasn't shut up about her; Alice is so excited; I think she knows something I don't she's being very weird lately.. Well weird for Alice anyway.

Finally the day has come to the end, I have deicided to go hunting! Emmett, Jasper and me went hunting and even them two will not shut up about this new girl.. I don't see what the big deal is about it, she's just someone new. I wasn't really bothered either way. Finally the day the new girl was arriving was here; jesus even everyone in my house was excited, when we finally got to the school I noticed the chevy truck parked outside the main building that must be the new girl's truck. I got out of the car and I got a million thoughts throwing at me about the new girl, everyone was talking about how beautiful she was. I wonder if I would find anything interesting about her.. We made our way to our 1st class and I couldn't think straight because of everyone's thoughts about this new girl, I tried to blocked them out but it didn't happen.

The rest of the morning flew by in a blur, I still havnt seen this new girl. All I knew about this girl was that she didn't like being called Isabella; she prefered Bella and she just moved here from Phoenix. I couldn't understand why someone from Phoenix would move here to Folks! I must keep an ear out to see if anyone else can find this out for me. It was in the lunchroom that I first laid eyes on here; she has beauty brown hair, she was tall but not too tall. Of course she would be sitting with that gossip Jessica Stanley and the Jock with no brains Mike Newton. I heard her asking Jessica "Who are they?" and without thinking I looked up at Jessica as through she called me and then I looked at this mysterious new girl; hang on a second I can hear Jessica's mind and everyone's else mind, why can't I hear her! Wait.. I can't read her mind? WHAT THE HELL??   I was explaining to Emmett what Jessica was saying "That's Edward and Emmett Cullen, and Rosalie and Jasper Hale. The one who just left was Alice Cullen; they all live together with Dr. Cullen and his wife." I said to Emmett that I couldn't hear her mind... Emmett, Jasper and Rosalie sat gobsmaked..
