Chapter Three: Phenomenon

For some strange I spent the night watching the snow fall thinking non-stop about Bella. I thought if I talked to her, my interest level would drop below zero but unfortunaly that wasn't the case. She was smart, funny and to easy to annoy; althrough she wasn't annoyed at me. More herself, I can't understand this. I was actually looking forward to going to school; we have Biology 2 together today. I'm hoping to get more information from her about her life. WHY THE HELL AM I THINKING LIKE THIS? I'm too dangerous, I shouldn't be around her! Althrough I have these weird feeling towards her that I should always be by her side. I want to protect her!!

Well Alice is shouting which could only mean that it's school time. God Alice is always so excited. I arrived at the school and was standing outside talking to my family. While I was standing there I heard Mike Newton thinking about Bella and how beautiful she is. I could see that this was going to a nasty level that I didn't want to hear, so I blocked him out. I watched as Bella pulled into the parking lot. I couldn't help but notice her walking to the end of the truck, something must have caught her eye.

Just then I heard a high - pitched screeh, I looked and notice Tyler's van sliding towards the back of Bella's van. I looked back at Bella and she was looking straight at me with a look of horror on her face. WHY WASN'T SHE MOVING, GET OUT OF THE WAY! I need to help her! Without thinking I ran at her with inhuman speed; She wasn't that far away from me no one would notice. I grabbed her and pulled her to the tan car she parked in front of her; there was a shattering crunch of the van folding around the truck bed. Bella hit the ice as I grabbed her, shit that got to hurt. She's about to get hit again! Without thinking again I stuck my hands out to stop the truck; it did but Bella's legs were still under the van. I pulled them out still holding her extermely close; I couldn't have her hurt. I heard a groaning metallic thud and then the van settled, glass popping, onto the asphalt. Suddenly the place was in bedlam, there was a lot of people shouting to Bella.

I couldn't think about what everyone was thinking; I was to concerned on how Bella was. Since I was still holding her close; I whispered into her ear. "Bella? Are you all right?" Shit I havnt heard one word from her since I grabbed her; I'm wondering if she was knocked out when she hit her head. "I'm fine." Her voice sounded weird, then I realised I was still holding her against the side of my body. As she struggled to get up I warned her to "Be Careful, I think you hit your head pretty hard." "Ow," she sounded so surprised that I couldn't help but try not to laugh. "That's what I thought." I wasn't prepared for what was next to come out of her mouth. I didn't know how to answer when she said "How did you get over here so fast?" I decided to play stupid. I hope she doesn't push this because I really don't know what to tell her. "I was standing right next to you, Bella," She turned to sit up, and this time I let her go. I moved away from her as far a way as this little space let me. I could have easily got out of that little space and ran but it would have been too obivous. She looked over at me, I tried to keep my face as innocent and concerned for her.

She didn't say much then because a lot of people showed up looking concerned, worried that the beautiful girl was hurt before they got to know. Shit now I'm for sure going to hear non stop about Bella! My thoughts were intruded my someone shouting for us to not to move and for someone to get Tyler out of the van! There was a flurry activity around us. All I got were hissing and angry comments from my family; god they're really pissed. I'm never going to hear the end of this! Out of the corner of eye I noticed Bella trying to get up; so I pushed her shoulder down... "Just stay put for now" I told her. "Bit it's cold" She complained. I couldn't help but laugh at that; she thought the ground was cold, yet she never complained once about how cold I was when I held her close to me to keep her from being crushed. Such a weird girl. I suddenely stopped laugh when she remembered what she was talking about earlier. "You were over there, You were by your car." I couldn't help my reaction it was hard and cold. I thought this would make her believe me if I was seriously trying to deny this fact. "No, I wasn't." "I Saw you." I couldn't believe this weird girl, chaos all around her and she obstinately held on to her agrument. "Bella, I was standing with you, and I pulled you out of the way." I had to unleash the full, devasting power of the eyes. I knew that every human woman couldn't reisit. "No" she set her jaw; damm this girl is stubborn. How the hell was I going to get out of this! "Please, Bella." "Why?" "Trust me," "Will you promise to explain everything to me later?" "Fine." "Fine." How the hell was I going to get out of this, I can't exactly tell her the truth. I'm going to have to go see Carlise and ask him what to do. He's going to be seriously disappointed in me; but what could I have done.
