(East of Kingdom)

Meiko and Kaito barged into the room.

A man with short blue hair and woman with low ponytailed grey hair appeared at the end of the room. The man looked like he was prepared for all this while the woman smiled evilly. The room was filled with a tense atmosphere. Meiko, out of anger, jumped into conclusions and assumed both of them were the king and queen.

Meiko: It's finally time I can take revenge!

Kaito: Meiko, wait!

It was too late to say anything. Meiko had dashed to the 'shocked' couple, preparing to spill blood of vengeance. Soldiers started to surround Meiko in the middle of the room.

"Luka": Ah, she fell into the trap.

"Gakupo": I was expecting so much from these group of people. And oh, look at how you disappointed me.

Meiko: Shoot! Had I lost my mind?!

"Gakupo": Don't lower your guard!

Kaito: (I'm not just going to stand here! Yes, we came here to do something!)

Kaito shot the soldiers down without a second thought.

Kaito: Don't worry, they're just tranquilizer.

Kaito rushed to Meiko's side. Meiko gestured to Kaito to thank him, then back to back, Meiko and Kaito dealt with the soldiers.

"Gakupo": Haku!

Haku: Roger.

Meiko: (Haku? On a closer look, it's really her!)

The knight named Haku appeared from above Meiko and slashed her from the back. Meiko realised she was there but it was too late. The two people's real identity were revealed. Knight Haku was "Luka" while the other Knight, Mizki was "Gakupo"!

The cut, considering it a really deep one, rendered Meiko on the ground. She was totally paralyzed and spitting out blood.

Meiko: Haku...? Isn't she a soldier?

Kaito: MEIKO!

Haku: Defeat me before attending to your dear friend.

Kaito cautioned. She doesn't seem to be an easy enemy. Kaito aimed at Haku and prepared to shoot. But Haku's movements were pretty fast and she was already behind Kaito. Kaito turned around and aimed again. Haku already thrusted her sword into Kaito's chest.

The two were unable to move. They were obviously on the losing side.

"Gakupo": Take them to the prison.

The soldiers, recovered from paralysis, started getting nearer to Kaito and Meiko. Checkmate.

(Prison of Kingdom)

Meiko, who was unconscious after the fight, woke up to see herself lying on a pile of hay.

Kaito: You're awake?

Meiko nodded.

Meiko: Where are we?

Kaito: The prison.

Meiko then realised that they were locked in a prison cell, and Haku, the one who knocked them off, was standing outside. Their comrades were also caught and locked up like them. Meiko sighed.

Kaito: Don't worry! I'll figured out a way to escape from this place...with my ...eh?

Kaito reached for his gun only to find that his weapon was seized. Meiko's too.

Meiko: Kaito, sorry...

Kaito: Uh, what is there to apologize about?

Meiko: Well, I acted rashly and got you into trouble too...and even caused you to get injured...

Meiko looked at Kaito's unattended injury.

Kaito: Erm, well, the wound's healing so it's fine! Really! Aren't your injuries worse...

Meiko: If we cannot escape, we would be executed, right?

Kaito: Hmm...if it's the king, that would definitely be possible...wait, I mean, wait!! That's not it!!

Meiko: Sorry for smacking you everyday...

Kaito: ((Uh, but I actually liked that))

Meiko burst into tears. Kaito lent her his shoulder. Haku look at them emotionlessly.

Haku: (Seriously... Why have I become a guard anyway...)

(Prison of Kingdom, Entrance)

A mysterious girl stepped in front of the prison and looked up at the tall tower, her appearance disguised by a hooded cape. Two guards stood in front of her.

Guard: Sorry, we are not allowed to let anyone enter the prison.

The girl continued to walk closer to the prison. The guards hesitated, then blocked her way, pointing their spears at her.

Guard: It's the king's orders.

The girl, irritated by what the guard had said, slipped to the side and sent her foot flying up to the guard's spine. The other guard turned around and tried to attack the girl with his weapon, but instead received a smash on the stomach from the girl's elbow.

Leaving the two guards kneeling outside, the girl walked into the prison.

(Back in Miku's room)

Miku: Neru.

Neru: Yes, Princess Miku.

Miku: *smiles* It's time we take action.
