50 reads! Thank you so much guys! I really appreciate it. :)) Forgive me if Chapter 1 is super short. This

time, I promise that it'll be longer. (LIKE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE) I think I wouldn't be able to update

this story after 3-4 days after I posted the recent chapter, especially if I'm gonna make the chapters

longer. I'm happy that people are reading my story and I'm gonna do my best to write with my heart.

So without any more wait, I present to you Chapter 2. ;))

DAY 5: AT WORK

I was at the recording studio, sitting in my office, waiting for a person to come in, asking me if

I could record a demo with them and eventually make them a super star. Okay, I was waiting

for her text. It's been 4 hours since I went to the coffee shop and still nothing. Maybe she's just busy.

Or probably she already thought I was too desperate and she decided to ignore me instead.

At the time of realization, I heard my phone making the ping sound. I quickly grabbed my phone to

see who texted me. It said:

Hi Luke. This is Sarah (((aka the girl at the coffee shop))) I just wanted to say hello. :))

I thought I was going to give up on waiting. But maybe waiting is worth the shot. I texted her back:

Oh hey Sarah. I'm happy you texted. :))

Our talking went on and on. It was basically just random ramblings but... it's not just "JUST" for me..

I thought that no matter how stupid our conversations are... it meant something to me.

DAY 7: FIRSTS

We had a text conversation for the first time, but it wasn't the last. It kept on going on. I always

expect that that ping will be her, and if it's not her, then it'll put a frown on my face. This is another

first. I never texted any girl before. Not until I was their girlfriend. But... were only friends and I

feel so much closer to her than any girl that I met in my life.Okay, I like her but... I'm too afraid to tell

her. I guess it's just the fact that she seems so different and I don't want to lose her. Well that

was another first. I told myself to take it slow... but I think that I culd ask her out for lunch.

It's not a date but it's a good way to make us know each other better. I texted her:

Hi Sara. I was wondering if I could take you out for lunch on your break? It's not a date but we'll

go out as friends. What do you think?

I thought she's going to be skeptical about it and ask why I'm asking her out, but when she replied

just said:

Sure Luke. That would be great. :))

I said that we could just eat at the coffee shop where she works. The food is really nice and she

could go back to work in no time.

We met at the coffee shop and ate. We both got coffee and a bagel. We sat down and talked. Sure,

it wasn't the fanciest thing ever, but... as long as it's with Sarah, it made everything better.

"Uhm... can I ask you something?" said Sarah.

"Sure. Anything. What is it?" I replied.

"Do you like me?" she said, without hesitation. "I'm just... curious. It's okay if you do. I just wanna

know the truth, that's all"

I like her... but I don't know if I should tell her. Yet

"Look Sarah... I like you as a friend and everything... but maybe that's just how it'll stay"

"Oh... well in that case, thank you for being honest with me"

I lied.
