Chapter 6: Hospital

Blake's POV

"Excuse me where is Sawyer James?" I ask a nurse lady.

"In 8M." She answers.

"Thank you." I run to find 8M and finally found it.

"Sawyer!" I yell and see that she is in a coma.

"What happened?" Ivy asked the doctor worryingly.

"She cut herself again." He looked at the clipboard, "if she does it again there is a possibility that she will die."

My heart shattered and I can tell in Ivy's eyes that hers did too.

"Thanks doctor." I tell him.

"Oh no I'm not done, we also found that she has cancer." He leaves the room and we start to cry.

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!" Ivy yells at me and goes outside of the room.

"I know!" I say aggressively.

"Why? What is wrong with her that you don't like?" Ivy asks with teary eyes.

"She is a nerd and if my friends see me around her I am lose them." I say in an honest way.

"Just because she is smart doesn't mean she is a nerd. It means that she will have a good job and will be able to take care of her family one day unlike you!" Ivy says.

"You're right." I mumble loud enough that she can hear it.

"I know." She said.

"What happened?" A voice says out if no where and I see that it was Sawyer.

"Sawyer!" I hug her and she gives me an odd look.

"Blake?" Sawyer says breathlessly, "what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to fix things." I stroke her cheek and I can see her face turn a bright red.

"What is there to fix?" She asks.

"Because Ivy told me that I was the one who made you cut yourself." I tell her sadly.

"Ivy!" She whines.

"No it's okay I need to fix this." I wave her off.

"Please don't." Sawyer pleads.

"I have to." I tell her.

Sawyer's POV

Oh no he is gonna make this a big deal.

"Sawyer Katy James, I'm so sorry I put you in this hospital. I just-I'm just madly and deeply in love with you. You may not believe me but it's true. And please please please forgive me." Blake takes my hand and says.

"What do you see in me?" She asks.

"A loving, beautiful, strong, brave, and a smart girl." He answers looking deep in my eyes.

"How?" I ask.

"Look in the mirror! Sawyer you are the most beautifulest girl I have ever seen." I shake my head no and tear up.

"No I'm a worthless piece of shit." I un grip from his hand and sob lightly.

"Forget what I said about you James, I was wrong and I know that deep inside you know that." I shake my head no once more.

"It doesn't matter Walker, she's gonna die anyways." Ivy walks around the room.

"What?" I ask.

"You have cancer Sawyer." Ivy answers with no emotion at all.

"No no this can't be!" I panic.

Blake grabs my hand again and starts crying like crazy. Then I start to cry too.

"Blake can I talk to Ivy alone?" I say through sobs.

"What is it?" Ivy asks as Blake leaves the room.

"You have to promise me........please......be strong okay?" I cry.

"What if I can't?" She asks.

"You are gonna have to because I don't want you to get hurt." I explain to her.

"So.........this is the end?" She asks depressingly.

"I'm afraid so." I answer.

We give each other a long stare and hug as we cry on each other's shoulders.

"I love you Ivy Cales." I say to her as if this is my last breath.

"I love you too Sawyer James." Ivy and I hug tightly.

Narrator:

That was the day Sawyer have lived thankfully. The doctor says that she may has cancer but will be able to live. The only way to live though is if she goes to doctor appointments every month for her fluids.

And sadly this is the end of the story.......
