**I asked a pastor Joe about this and the beginning is his answer!!**
Hmmmm.....psalm 139:14 talks about how we are a wonderful creation of God. He made us unique and awesome...which we can then ask why would you harm something God has made so wonderful?
Often times people turn to self harm because of grief like you said, but God says that our pain can be focused outward, instead of hurting ourself, let's use our energy to reach others 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 talks about how we can comfort others because we know what it's like to feel pain.
Jeremiah 29:11 talks about how God has a hope and a future for us. Often times we harm ourselves because tomorrow doesn't seem bright, but God says that our lives matter and if we harm ourselves and let that depression win, we will miss out on a. Chance to see our pain used to help others later in life
This was his answer! Nobody should ever physically harm themself from depression. You guys are strong enough to get through whatever life brings you! Maybe not alone but as long as you have God by your side. Please pray before you ever doubt yourself. If your thinking of self harm because of bullies just remember that whatever the said doesn't matter. However they think of you doesn't matter. What matters is what God thinks of you.
All you girls out there are beautiful, smart, and most of all you are definitely worth life. I love all of you because you understand that the road gets tough.
