I've been asked to write this one shot from a very good author on fan fiction.net and I decided to update it here too...Regina got that night into the tavern she met Rob in and run away with him but one week before their wedding Daniel comes back...
"Look who's finally woken up," he says as he feels her hands circling around his chest while her head is resting on his back. With one flick of his body, Robin is facing her, her eyes still close shut as she rests her head in the crook of his neck smiling when he feels her lips pressing soft kisses on his skin.
"You didn't let me sleep much last night," she huffs though he can feel the smile of her lips on his skin.
"I don't remember you complaining last night future-Ms. Locksley," he teases smirking and she laughs and brings her body closer to his. And he promises he'll always do everything he can to hear that laugh of hers, to see her smile, to see the sparkle of happiness in her eyes.
"What can I say?" she breathes smiling "I love when you're seducing me," she smirks and they both burst out in laughter.
Since Regina had stepped into that tavern, her life had turned upside down in the best of ways. He fell in love with her ever since the first time his eyes made contact with hers. Robin didn't know about his tattoo and the prophecy, but he had said to her once that they were 'meant to be'. She had smiled and kissed him that night. When he learned about her life, that she was in fact the Queen, that she was married with a man she didn't love, Robin had stolen her. One night he had snuck into the castle and kidnapped her, however she never complained. He didn't let her come back since then. It took him six months to propose to her, to ask her to marry him, promising that he would be always by her side. She had cried then, she had said 'I'm already married'.
"No," he had protested. "Your heart is not. I want you to marry me with your heart Regina," he had said.
She had shouted 'yes' and hugged him tightly as if her life had depended on it. Words of love and adoration had been filling the atmosphere and Regina didn't remember being happier than that day.
Now, they're outside eating their breakfast. Robin's men went for a good hunt early in the morning, so the couple is enjoying their breakfast for only company the other. Robin loves moments like this one, seeing Regina laughing and giggling when he tries to feed her, then leaning closer and biting the food from her mouth, causing her features to turn in a –frustrated though terribly adorable frown. Then he looks at her with puppy eyes and she forgets everything, just drops their plates on the ground and jumps in his arms.
"I love you." She breathes and her face becomes serious.
Robin raises his hand his fingers trailing on her cheekbone before he puts a strand behind her ear answering "I love you more than anything". He kisses her afterwards, with everything he has, her lips parting for him as she wraps her arms around his neck, tilting her head and deepening the kiss, welcoming his tongue in her mouth, moaning when he brings her closer, their heads moving side to side savouring each other's mouth. Robin doesn't miss the chance to whisper that in two days they will be married "You will be totally mine forever," he breathes in her mouth and Regina answers "I already am."
"'Regina." a voice that is so familiar to her, makes her freeze in Robin's arms.
This is not possible.
"Regina?"
Robin is facing a man with brown hair and kind blues eyes and from the way Regina's features have changed he doesn't like this man very much.
Slowly and with unsteady movements Regina turns her body and the sight in front of her causes her to gasp and Robin can see her eyes watering.
"Daniel...?" He hears her breathing in disbelief and Robin's world is crushed in this very moment. From the moment that the man's name escapes from her lips. He knows who Daniel is. She has told him about her first love, but he thought he was dead. How is this even possible?
