Blade POV
I sat up and stretched as I waited for my dad to come back with my pomegranate. Looking around my room, I noticed that everything was the way I had left it. Except for the fact that there was a bunch of chairs next to my bed. Ugh he is taking entirely too long.
Sighing, I stood up and slowly made my way over to the window. I pulled open the curtain and squinted as the light brightened up the room. It was nice to see my back yard again; the sun shimmering off of the water in the swimming pool, the trampoline I had spent my childhood on. It's pretty amazing when you can just stop and take a breather while remembering the good old days when everything was easy.
I turned around just as dad walked in the room.
"Sorry, did I startle you?" he asked setting the bowl of my pomegranates on my nightstand.
Turning to look at him, I shook my head. "no, I heard your footsteps."
He chuckled lightly, "Oh yeah, I forget that you have super human hearing."
"Me too." I breathed as I flipped my hair forward to put my hair in a pony tail.
I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his mid section and he wrapped his arms around my shoulders, rubbing my back.
"I missed you, baby girl. I honestly thought I was gonna loose you." he said as he kissed my forehead.
"I've got you in my blood. Do you really think you can get rid of me that easily?" I asked.
"That is a good point, my dear. I AM pretty stubborn." he said.
"That wasn't exactly what I meant, but okay." I shrugged and pulled away from him and sat down on my bed.
"Well, what did you mean?" he asked sitting down in the chair in front of me.
"I meant that I'm strong like you. If I'm determined to do something, nothing is going to stop me." I said picking up the bowl and tossing a few seeds in my mouth.
"That you are. And I couldn't possibly ask for a better daughter. I'm just glad you didn't turn our like your moth-."
"Don't you dare say that monster is my mother. A mother doesn't give up her child, or gives her rights away. Fucking cunt." I muttered the last part, roughly throwing more seeds into my mouth.
"Woah calm down there killer! She's gone, okay? She won't come back. Ever. I promise." he said softly.
"Yea, okay." I said as there was a knock on the front door. "Someone's here."
"Shit. I got it." he said as he got up and walked out of the door.
While he was gone I sat there and ate my pomegranate contently. Getting bored, I held out my palm and summoned some sun. It sure did give me hell of a rush. I successfully tried to radiate sun through my fingertips and aimed at my mirror, making light bounce off of it.
"Yes!" I whispered as I fist pumped the air excitedly.
Hearing multiple voices and footsteps coming up the stairs, I quickly scooted back and leaned against the wall, pulling the blanket over my legs. All of a sudden, 3 familiar faces I know way too well, stepped into my room (the other two being Ghost and dad).
"Why in the hell is Jayy Von, Jeffree Star, and Jacky Vincent in my room?" I asked totally baffled as to why they're here.
"Oh about that," Ghost mutters. Sitting in the chair directly in front of me, he asked, "What is the last thing you remember?"
"The last thing I remember is Hades ripping Oli's heart out." I said impatiently.
"Well, you were blind with rage and-"
