I sit on Ross' lap watching him record when a thought strikes my mind; Who's gonna be my maid of honor? I obviously knew Dani has been my best friend forever and that she deserves it, but Riley has been my friend longer, but with more breaks where we just didn't talk. I don't know.

Ross ended his recording and I looked at him. "Baby, who do you think should be my maid of honor? Dani or Riley?" He smiled.

"Don't worry about it right now. We've still got time for that." He kissed my cheek and hugged me. He was right. There's so much time.

On the car ride home I got a text from Dani.

So.... Maid Of Honor? Who's it gonna be? :)

I didn't respond. I just looked at Ross and frowned. He kissed me on the cheek and continued driving. We got home and I got the exact same text from Riley, ignoring it again. Somehow Ross already knew who his best man was gonna be, Tyler. But I couldn't decide. Memories began to flood back to me.

Flashback, 6 Years Ago
I sat on my bed with Dani. We were playing WOW on our laptops. She turned to me. She stuck out her hand with her pinkie extended. "We'll be each other's Maid of Honors, right? Pinkie promise?" I intwined my pinkie with hers. "Pinkie promise." And we smiled.

I had to choose Dani. I made a promise when we were 13 and I wasn't going to take it back. I texted both of them explaining, and they were cool. And I was happy. My third bridesmaid, you ask? Jess. Me and her have been talking a lot, she's really cool.
