"Hey dad." I knocked on his bedroom door.

"Yeah come in." I opened his door. It creaked. He laid on his bed while looking at his phone. His eyes flicked up to me.

"What?" He asked. Rude. I have my sweetest smile.

"What do you want." He looked back at his phone.

"Oh nothing. Just wanting to hang out with my dad." I smiled and crawled into the bed next to him.

He raised and eyebrow.

"What do you really want."

I pulled his blanket on me and laid with half my face on one of his extra pillows.

"Are you accusing me?" I stared at him with my one eye, since half my face was in the pillow.

He just laughed. "Yes I am." I sighed. "Can Abby come over?"

"Yeah, I don't care." He said and put his attention back to his phone. "I don't understand why you even have a phone. You don't have any social media." I said.

"I watch Netflix. And the news." He said defensively.

I sighed. "God dad, you are old." I laughed.

"I'm only forty," he said. "And I. An whip and nae nae." He moved his arm to the dance.

I face palmed and laughed.

"Dad, no." I climbed out of his bed. "Oh and thanks." I added.

"You're welcome."

I walked out of his room and closed the door behind me.

I walked down the hall to my room. I shiut the door behind me.

I went to my bed and picked up my iPhone and texted Abby. I flopped down on my bed.

"Hey Crabby, come over." I texted. Crabby is my nickname for her. Mine is Llama Del Rey. Llama for short.

I grabbed the remote for my tv on my bed stand and switched my tv on.

I played a recorded episode of Impractical Jokers.

I heard my phone go off.

"Alrighty, I'll leave in 5 mins. Cya soon."

Abby, my best friend, is Abigail Breslin. I've known her since my dad made "Signs" in 2002. My dad would take me on the set with him while filming something. He has pictures of me with Mel Gibson from that movie when I was only 1 or 2 years old, which is pretty cool. How many people can say Mel Gibson held them when they were one?

Anyway, during the time I was there Abby and I had taken a liking to each other. Even though she was six and I was one, almost two, we were close . All these years later, were super close now I'm 14 and she's 19.

Dad likes her a lot. Him and her parents are good friends and were always hanging out. We basically live with each other. On my dresser, I have a picture of us, around the time we had met. She sitting on a couch with me in her lap. We are both smiling at each other. Next to that picture I have one of us re-creating that picture.
