Drowning for so long taught it how to hold its breath.
Taught it to dream because it only forgot how to breathe. 
A long time ago the ship set sail without its captain lost at sea.
Screaming for so long, forgetting how to speak. 
Desperate cries becoming weeping sobs. 
Holding onto nothing
